Hi! So sorry for the late reply but thank you for your feedback on my review c: I'm glad to hear you appreciated it!

> actually, it's kind of an old and janky review that i wrote while half-asleep so sometimes i wonder if i should redo it

Thanks for pointing it out, will change it any second now.

Loved your post on Kuzu no Honkai ep 11 here https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1601399&show=100#msg50137471 . It was so casually savage ~ some people are just asking to be roasted.

I'm still wondering how so many people can think of it as a proper mystery after the first episode introduces 30 characters, one of which raps, has the legendary Hippo song, and also includes that suicide-note black comedy scene. It would probably have been better if the trailer and marketing was done like the Deadpool movie or something.

Incidentally, I also have this very spoiler heavy analysis over here:

My review is meant to be taken in the same way as Mayoiga

Which means, if you love Mayoiga, you will find it serious. If you hate Mayoiga, you will find it satirical.

But, the good thing about Mayoiga is that it reveals all its cards in the first episode. If you want to know whether it'll be a waste of time for you or not, just watch the first episode or first two episodes, because the tone basically sticks like that for the whole thing. Also don't watch it for mystery or horror.

hello, sorry for the late response; completely missed your comment in the wall of others that has been left behind for me recently.

yes, by first arc i meant heaving combined sodachi riddle+sodachi lost. though now i've been told by someone that ougi formula is also considered an arc; sort of forgot about it due to it only being one episode (which was watched 3 months ago and was also not very memorable overall)

but yeah, the two sodachi arcs i just consider one. since that's basically what they are.

as for the plot hole...

well, i initially learned about it due to a friend of mine pointing it out to me. well no, he didn't specifically point it out, it was more like a "yo dude!! wtf was that plot hole in owarimonogatari??? you caught it right?!"
after a bit of confirmation (he promised on his father's grave that he wasn't lying to me, which is something he takes very seriously and thus would never lie under that kind of circumstance), i believed his claim of a plot hole actually existing.

i re-watched episodes 2 through 6 a total of 5 times before catching the plot hole. and my god, it was pretty mind blowing once i finally realized it.

because of everything i've said, i won't tell you what it is. it is one of those things that i find NEED to be experienced, and not just simply told. all i can do now is wish you the greatest luck that i possibly can.

and with that said, good luck.

Personally, I think Kyoukai no Kanata is a much better anime than Outbreak Company, and that's just my opinion. I appreciate you coming over and explaining your point-of-view as it's always nice to see someone else's perspective on things. Anyways, I did read the message and all I'll say is, to each their own.

I know how you feel, I get the same anger when I read bad things about Clannad After story. My review was removed because it was reviewing the show when it was incomplete. I'm not really too bothered by it and they messaged me the text if I ever want to put it back up again, doubt I will though.

Lol, to be honest the only reason I watch Oregairu is to see Hachiman get with either Yuigahama or Yukinoshita. That's probably why I really couldn't care less when the show goes off into it's "dramatic situations", 99% of the time they don't have anything to do with the romance. To be fair though I think the show has improved recently so please cut me some slack lol.

You are correct but still, it was the way they were designed and in the anime it mentioned Nike's becoming a maiden of age which i took it as 18/19 while Livi was describe as the young boy Prince which i took as just reaching Youth like 13+

Still weird and what would many considered a big gap difference at highschool. But i can fix the 'very large' part later on as it was never mentioned in the actual anime (from the top of my head, been some months now but i am most certainly certain) about their ages. I guess MAL has those details from the Original adaption.

If ya notice any other mistakes, please do so.

Hi man, glad to see we share so much interests! We should meet up at a con or something in the future haha we would definitely hit it off.

Thanks for the feedback as well, which i completely agree with. From what I've heard and seen university will be a hell of a lot less socially stressful because for the most part everyone is doing their own thing and plus the classrooms are huge, so I'll definitely be more open about anime.

High school however, and i'm sure most people would agree; is ruthless 0_0 You have to do everything correct just to stay relevant, especially in a private one where it's so much more concentrated and well with the addition of trying to impress girls it's hard to be open about a interest that isn't that well known in a school like mine :/ Like you said however, I'll definitely be dropping this mentality in uni so you don't have to worry about that :D just one more year of being a closet otaku ;)

Also couldn't help but notice you're a touhou fan haha another thing we share in common. My favourite song would have to be the fan favourite UN Owen haha

Great to meet you!

Thanks for the comment!

It is true that Hayami is really annoying. Especially how she uses Hosaka's emotions for her own gain, such as the making of a bento. Nevertheless, she is simply an obstacle in Hosaka's path and I believe he is awesome and great enough to overcome her!

Also, Hosaka is awesome enough to let me overlook Hayami. Unfortunately, in life, there always seems to be unsettling people. However, what I love about minami-ke is that it offers a wide range of characters, of which some may not be pleasant, but many are interesting, engaging, and even lovable ( personally I like Hosaka, fujiwara, and chiaki).

I completely agree with your point, but luckily there are many other interesting characters ( and also she's usually with Hosaka, who is always a joy to see).

In addition, what I love about the show is that the guys ( Hosaka and fujiwara) are actually cool, nice, and good role models(well... the uncle bought them sushi:P), not the usual idiotic pervert stereotype.

Currently I'm just waiting for more episodes, before I bare my fangs to the manga ( which actually may be a good idea ).

But who knows? Possibly Hayami may even have her uses in matchmaking, but at least there's plenty of interesting characters even without her.

Sure. ^_^ Considering that the club is mostly for novices, feel free to leave if you wish. I'm sending these invitations to most Kanade fans.
