| I find it fascinating how much attention OPs and EDs get in the anime community, so I’m curious — How much does a good or bad OP/ED affect your rating? For me it’s more of a cherry on top that can push a great anime a little higher or a way to gauge the potential quality of new series. |
| Yeah they don't really impact anything for me. Not that I dislike OP/ED but I just don't think they're very valuable when considering whether or not a show is good. They'd be bottom of the list if they factored in at all. |
| The opening may affect my initial impressions and the ending may affect my mood after the first episode ends, but outside of that they wouldn't affect my rating too much. I care more about the sound design and soundtrack within the episodes. |

| Opening skipper probably didn't realize that opening can enhances your anime watching experience. For example Toaru index and railgun openings gets you hyped for the fight that will happen. Some opening give you a little foreshadowing. For example Another opening could give you a de javu or makes you feel bad thing will happens soon. Some opening is just a gift from the studio to the viewer because we deserve it. For example jojo opening use different studio and looks cool af. |

| I never consider OPs and EDs to be factors for how I rate anime, but I do enjoy checking them out and making "top 10 OPs and EDs of the season/year" lists. |
| 0% but that doesn't mean that I don't listen to it but rating depending of op/ed is not my thing. And I respect a good one, for example the ed of kaguya-sama is very entertaining |

| "How much (if any) does OP and ED affect your rating?" Zero. Those can be a nice bonus or a hostile attack on my musical tastes but will never increase or decrease significantly my experience with the main course. ...like how hard is to skip them? |

| If the op and ed have really good visuals and music then I'll rate it a bit higher, maybe 1 mark higher as a bonus score. But I mainly rate by looking into story, characters and visuals within the story. |

| None at all, and the only time I ever even consider it to go into the enjoyment of the anime is in music anime where a band from the show is performing the OP, so like show by rock or idolish7, but even then I wouldn't say it did enough to jump the overall score any. |

| Good OPs and EDs do enhance the enjoyability of the show.. especially if they're progressively evolving like in Zoku/Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.. such OPs/EDs make the show more exciting and enjoyable.. But it's a subtle influence on the overall enjoyment of the show. If a show has bad OPs and EDs, it wouldn't decrease the overall rating.. |

| From -2 to +2 points. It's not a fixed rule but you basically get around 0.5 bonus or malus, for opening music, ending music, opening visuals & animation, ending visuals & animation. Or that's how I'd like to rate perfectly, objectively. In any case, op/ed is the thing you enjoy (or not) at every episode and it's often the music theme that lives on after you end watching. So, even if I rate with overall impression, it can seriously up or down my score by 1 point. For example, I love very much Bang Dream! music. Last summer, when Bokutachi no Remake went out, I loved very much the OP and discovered afterwards it was from PoPiPa. https://myanimelist.net/anime/40904/Bokutachi_no_Remake This way, it got from 5/10 to 6/10. (Mind you there were a lot of enjoyable anime this season, which is why the base score could seem low) btw, my favorite song from the album is not the Opening but the second one Sweets Ban! |
