| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I kinda hoped they'd intentionally throw the game or forfeit and I was seriously expecting a grand slam, but I think I like this ending better. |
| Well,it would have been kind of unrealistic if they had won the game.Not that a 4th grader throwing 110 kmh pitches is realistic...Anyway,it's fine as it is. |

| My question is, if Goro was so interested in playing baseball, wouldn't he have already scouted out which little league team he wanted to join? It seems like after being told "wait till your 9" he just stopped looking for teams to play with until he was 9, only to find that team had pretty much fallen apart. Either way, hard to imagine that rag tag team of 9 would be able to compete against other teams, seems like they got lucky (or the adults sucked), since they had no fielding skills, and couldn't really bat at all. |

| Great episode yet again. I like that they didn't win, but came close, more believable that way. |

| Great. So now Goro gets to play with a third-rate team once a week. Way to go for someone who wants to go pro... But who cares, it's anime, everything will work out fine. The 6 first episodes were awesome and gave me the hope taht it would ba an original sports series that would avoid the usual shonen tropes. Alas, it doesn't seem to continue that way... |

| Aww that was a sweet ending :) Actually felt like it was better for them to lose. The fact that their pitcher started messing up because of the rain was also a good excuse for the story to give them a chance for a comeback. Also love that towards the end their manager and the rest of the team wanted the kids to win xD |

| So close, honestly almost winning against an adult team is actually an achievement for those elementary kids especially since this match was the first time they played as a team. Shimizu is currently one of the worst player and acts as a comedic relief but I actually hope to see her becoming, given enough time and training, a capable player like Komori. |
