| Well atleast the CGI has improved a bit after 2,5 years... was needed cause I don't think I could have watched it otherwise XD It was pretty rough trying to remember what happened in the final episodes of S1, but overall an OK start. Shea still best (bunny) girl! But I am interested to see how Kaori will fit in. |

| Not a bad start for S2, animation is noticeably better and even the CG improved, it's not great still but at least it's not instantly vomit inducing anymore. I bet that "god" will be added to the harem too eventually. lol |

| Well, they wasted 6 min just to insert some new characters that I don't even care much, as they are no different from the self-propelled sex dolls of the previous season. If you wanted to introduce them, should have done it along with the advance of the plot. |

| Got busy the other day so forgot the episode dropped. Finally got around to being able to watch it and wtf, why was this first episode Lowkey pretty good? As someone who reads the books and hated the first season, which at the time was one of the worst anime, if not the worst anime I’d ever seen, I’m pleasantly surprised. The art was mainly solid in s1, the cgi is what me and so many others hated. We didn’t get much action besides the worm scenes today so it’s a bit hard to properly judge that, but decent start. Pacing and skipping crucial info was the other big issue from s1. We’ll see if going forward they keep important details in or simply omit them, cautiously optimistic this will be better. |

| I clearly forgot a lot of details from the last season but Kaori is a great addition to the group, and i clearly forgot that! And now that someone has pointed out in this thread, the CGI indeed looks much better. I am glad to have a 2S and hope he will have a great season, so can't wait for the next episode! |

| Arifureta is back, and it starts straight into a new plotline. Lucky the gang managed to catch that guy before he went and overloaded. Without him, they wouldn't have got that quest. Good thing Kaori managed to save him using her mana and the ring Hajime gave her, accompanied by some exposition of the ability. Totally not gonna be necessary for the future. Nope, not at all... Ahh, the dialogue was killing me this ep. It's so bad. Nothing meaningful at all. Now we have even more bullshit stuff between Kaori and Yue unless, of course, you're into that. Meh. Hajime getting rekt by a God. I'd pay to see that. |

| A lot of people are focusing on the CG and like, yeah, sure, its marginally less shit now. But honestly the bad CG was the least of season 1's problems, that anime was bad in ways Ive almost never seen an ostensibly professional product be bad. It had bad storyboarding, bad editing, bad framing, bad camerawork, the title cards look like a god damn free powerpoint template, and this season is much more up to scratch in that regard. Sure the CG is still bad, and of course its still a shallow edgy chuuni power fantasy, but it at least looks like a professional product now. And for people who like the source material, great, Im happy for you. I know what its like to see a LN you love get such a shitty adaptation (my dear KumoDesu being the only other anime Ive ever seen be bad in the same ways as arifureta s1). This one's... not for me though, dont think Ill have as much fun with this season now that its not such an unmitigated disaster. |
| I'm very proud and happy for this first episode, the animation is way~~~ better than the first season. I'm glad to see all the characters moving normally without the cra**y movements I mostly saw from the 1st season. The heroines are more lovely to watch and the jokes are good and the OP & ED are decent enough that it can entertain me but not really the "hype" one. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
