| I remembered this one video about Gigguk during the Trash Taste Podcast, saying that he wants to learn 日本語 to be more satisfied when watching the Monogatari Series. I've been watching Bakemono and I thought it made perfect sense to hold it until I learn the language. What do you think about it and is there any anime besides what I've given that you find yourself in the same situation? RIP my time tho. N5 gonna be real tough. |

It kinda seems weird to me to put a show on hold to just...learn Japanese, Like that'll take years and a shit ton of effort to learn, You'll probably forget that you wanted to watch the show after you actually learned a decent chunk from the language. |

Plus all the stuff I have ever had on hold is because - Deltora Lost i'm taking a break from (have been for 6 months) since it's your average kids adventure story - Wotakoi OVA airs in October - Jouran I'm waiting for someone to finish it with them - Oregiaru S2 because the first half of the christmas arc was that boring. |

| The Trash Taste Podcast might as well be the bible for mal users at this point. I won't drop something because of Japanese. If I want to I can go back and look over translations that I might've missed in fast shows like Monogatari and Zetsubo-sensei, but usually I can understand majority of the show from subtitles alone. N5 is a long ways off for me as well. Learning Japanese just for anime seems like a waste of effort for the most part.
