I remember when getting anime adaptation from Madhouse was the most hype shit. And for good reason. They gave back to back popular shows. I mean Irregulars at magic, No Game No Life, Parasite, Death Parade, Ore Monogatari!, Overlord, One Punch Man. BACK TO BACK. In a span of 2 years (2014-2015). It's not normal or at least most studios have something shit in between.

What happened? Why did they suddenly stopped getting good shows and also release way less shows than they used to?

The became broke and most staff spread to other studios. The ngnl director still works for them though. 2014-2015 weren't even their best years. In the 2000 they were making EVERYTHING.

well a bunch of their staff went to MAPPA, and from then on madhouse just slowly died. shame cause they made some great shit in the 2000s, look at how fucking sick Redline looked for its time.

Serious brain drain. One of their most famous producers who was in charge of a lot of their stuff went to form MAPPA though he then left MAPPA for pretty much the same reason (something about not being able to do the shows he wants or something about being too big???), Redline bombed and Takeshi Koike left (or got fired. Don't know exactly), Yuasa and Mamoru Hosoda left to form their own studios, the director of Death Parade left to also for his own studio, They also got bought out by a T.V station which I think caused other people to leave too.

lost some money because of some bad anime projects, then lost some staff members. With no money and good staff you can't survive long in the industry. Now they have some interesting projects but it'll never be like before.

they went bankrupt unfortunately. then got bought by nippon tv.
In March 2014, NTV bought all the shares belonging to Index Corporation, increasing its stake in Madhouse to 95%.[1]

They are popular because anime was booming at this period. These anime aren't better than older Madhouse productions.

Debts, unprofitable projects, Maruyama's questionable project decisions, talent diaspora due to structural changes, mismanagement, and conflict of interest, ownership transfers, and Maruyama's resignation. With most of its talents gone and left with lots of debt on board, Madhouse effectively died as a creative powerhouse and is now almost on par with Studio Gokumi in terms of production value.

What happened to Madhouse is basically the same as what happened to Gonzo around 2008, only that Gonzo seemed to recover faster than them despite numerous flops due to effective risk management, partnerships, and dissolution of unprofitable divisions. Sadly, Madhouse doesn't even seem to have those as they stagnated so bad after they were purchased by NTV. Even Madbox's CGI quality went significantly lower ever since, being beat by other CGI studios like LARX and V-sign.

Most of Madhouse's talents who left with Maruyama formed MAPPA, and some ex-Madhouse producers established VOLN right after. Some of their prolific directors and animators went on to work freelance and some even stayed in rival studios (Tetsuro Araki and Yoshimi Itazu moved to IG/WIT, Sayo Yamamoto stayed in MAPPA, and Satoshi Nishimura became a VOLN regular).

Nowadays, Madhouse seem to rely heavily on outsourcing their works to their Korean sub-studios (DR MOVIE, Busan DR) and Studio Live for their projects. Their postprocessing quality in their recent shows seemed to take a huge nosedive as well. Overlord, Boogiepop reboot, and No Guns Life had it worst. They also seem to attract lesser talents, directors, and projects unlike before.

they gone bankrupt then their founder Maruyama founded MAPPA and joining him are the veterans of MadHouse but now Maruyama left MAPPA too and made M2 studio lol because he said he just want to make anime on a small studio so if the studio becomes too big he leaves because of too much office politics

so MAPPA is the new MadHouse

She is from the TAKARA/TOMY "Liccarize" Anime Character Doll series.
they released both Sakura and Tomoyo around the early-2010s, - IIRC - and i missed out.

in 2017, they reissued Sakura with a new facial sculpt, this time in her "Platinum" costume,
with her signature costume available as an accessory;

i leapt on that release, and have been waiting on a Tomoyo reissue that has yet to materialize.

Bear in mind, that my Sakura has been heavily tweaked; higher-quality lace added to the costume,
and the costume adjusted overall to better fit a doll adapted from her stock TAKARA Licca body, to the aftermarket OBITSU 26;
