Have you ever stopped watching an anime (no matter how great it is) just because on how bloody or gory it was. As for me I love anime that are pretty gory. I know I am messed up.

No. I'm not exactly into gore either, but it's never made me want to stop something. In fact, I will admit that the only reason I could finish Elfen Lied was because the brutality was so good-looking.

I'm usually disappointed by the violence in anime. Most of the times it's not explicit and handled in such an immature way that I can't help but think it's edgy.

One of the few scenes that managed to give me chills despite not being graphic was from Babylon episode 7.

Also Inuyashiki episode 2

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Never. imo There's not enough anime that are truly gory enough to bother the average viewer. It's usually just gallons of blood coming out of nowhere.

I watched one clip for Blood-C and was like "Yeah I'mma pass"
I don't even hate gore as long as it's done well, but Blood-C is just over the top for no reason.

i couldnt read that shintaro kago manga where the guy is making a photo diary about his oral sexcapades with decaying corpses, among other things, from cover to cover. never been too grossed out by an anime to finish though.

I don't really care about gore. It is what keeps me watching if anything.

Not gore but suffering.

If an anime depicts needless suffering to get a sad boner out of its audience it immediately turns me off from the show

I'm not someone who's into gore. But I have sat through series such as Attack on Titan and Baki.

I almost stopped watching Berserk because of that but realized I read Kingdom which was already gorey as hell. Then I went back and watched the rest of Berserk and it was pretty good.

I don't think I have stopped watching due to violence since I've seen as ton of violent anime, but there are scenes that made me wince. Most recently was in Higurashi Gou when a character was disemboweled and had her intestines torn out by the handful. I was like damn....

Violence is a entertainment factor in society. People like violence in entertainment.
"I think I wanted to attack something. Like betraying people or hurting people. And, well, it's not exactly nice, but hurting the readers too... In all honestly, I feel that's what I really wanted to do. For me, as a reader, when I think, "this manga will remain in my heart," it means, for example, it phenomenally hurt me: It's those kinds of experiences I'm after." - Pajime Hisayama (My favourite hurting author).

I haven't but sometimes I will pause the video because I might feel the pain. Like if a character got its finger broken my finger would start feeling weird.

No but it's opposite (for action) like Fairy Tail , it should be a kids show and the mild nudity and echii elements should be removed

So far no. I feel like gore in anime affects me way less than gore in manga.

I have to admit though that the fingernail scene in Higurashi made me a bit squeamish.

If it’s good, then no.
Would you ever drop a Tarantino movie because it’s violent even tho it’s good?

Well, i usually try to avoid accidentally watching any anime that might have gore, but back in the day i almost dropped the original 2003 version of Fullmetal Alchemist because of the episode where Barry the Chopper was first introduced.....i'm glad i didn't though, it's one of the best anime ever!!!

I guess Afro Samurai and Blood+ don't count since they were aired on TV??

Oh...wait does Kuroshitsuji count since i stopped watching it when they fried that business man alive inside the stove??? I mean, it wasn't particularly gory but it made me feel uncomfortable.....

I have never dropped an anime/manga because of gore, but I remember getting off my chair and taking a little walk in my room after the satoko torture scene in higurashi.

Quite the opposite as I love torture porn/gorno and splatter, it's my absolutely favorite thing in any medium. Anime is pretty boring and uncreative when it comes to gore and yes I'm also including what 80's has to offer.
