I like Karna because he is such a badass mf who wield a lance with high divinity levels I absolutely love Ishtar as she is just a Rin incarnate but now a goddess. She also is very powerful and reminds me of Aqua (Konosuba). | If I have to pick a top 5 (from the entries of Fate that have got anime), then: 1. Archer (Fate/stay night) Great design, background, fighting style and GAR as heck. Loved him since the first time I saw him. 2. Lancer (Fate/stay night) A true bro, great warrior and source of some dank memes. What's not to love? 3. Merlin (Fate/Grand Order Babylonia) Love his troll and pseudo-condescending personality, and how nearly everyone hates him. Though the main cast of Fate/Grand Order wasn't very charismatic, he sure compensated it. 4. Semiramis (Fate/Apocrypha) Big tiddy waifu with elf ears and surprisingly loyal to her master, cannot ask for someone better. Cool Noble Phantasm too. 5. Karna (Fate/Apocrypha) Cool design, honorable personality and powerful as fuck. Basically a less arrogant version of Gilgamesh. Maybe not the most charismatic character, but he compensates it with the aforementioned traits. | Honestly I don't remember UBW much to tell which one was my favourite, perhaps because it wasn't that memorable to me (plus I need to rewatch). As for Fate/Zero, I rewatched and I guess I would go with Gilgamesh. Tho Rider from Fate/Zero is also pretty cool. But I have to admit Fate series gotta be the most confusing franchise I've ever seen, there are tons of shows to watch and I really don't know which one I should watch or how the fuck they are even related. This Ishtar looks cool and I'm quite enthusiastic about mythology, but I don't remember her on the show at all lol. |

Apohcrya is just a battle royal between two sides Extra Encore is an adaption of the game Extra and features UmU Saber, also seen in the second singularity of Fate/Grand Order Fate/Grand Order just executes waaaay later than the Fuyuki holy grail war and is basically time travel servant summoning Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya is a alternate version of the Fuyuki holy grail war and with less violence and more loli, also featuring luvia, which makes an appearance in fate/stay nighte unlimited blade works So in clonclusion, there is a lot of waifu material and a lot of franchise to consume. just watch it all |

| I don't often agree with the popular opinion, but it seems I do in this case. Rider (Alexander the Great) and Gilgamesh are easily the best two servants in the Fate series. I should also mention that the Servants from Apocrypha are all portrayed extremely well, and the characters in general are some of the most fleshed out in the series. My personal favorites from Apocrypha are Ruler (Jeanne D'Arc), Caster of Red (William Shakespeare), Assassin of Black (Jack the Ripper), Archer of Black (Chiron), and Berserker of Black (Frankenstein's Monster). |

| My favorite servant, definitely, without a doubt, is Ereshkigal! To be honest, while I most certainly like Rin, I like Ereshkigal far more than any other form of her. I feel like Eresh basically took Rin's dere side and left everything else behind. In any case, despite the fact that it took me 2,250 SQ to get a single copy of her, Eresh is definitely my favorite, and one of my favorite characters in anime overall. Following Eresh, my second favorite is Gilgamesh. Honestly, I find that Gilgamesh is always cool in every adaptation he makes it in. He was cool in Fate/Zerp. He was cool in UBW. He was cool in FGO. He was even cool in Prisma Illya, where basically no other servant was. Honestly, Gilgamesh just has a habit of bending the rules to suit him wherever he goes, always managing to force the spotlight onto him and infecting those around him with his boundless charisma. He's always super fun to watch. After Eresh and Gilgamesh, it honestly fluctuates a bit, but some of my other favorites include: - Best Kouhai Mash Kyrielight I mean, how could you not like her? Especially if you've played FGO and watched how she has developed as a character. - King Hassan This guy is like death incarnate, he sounds like nothing on the planet could faze him, and he just looks cool. I feel like I'm looking at the Fate version of Ainz Ooal Gown when I see him. And the description of Azrael sounds so awesome it is impossible for me not to like the guy. - Artoria Pendragon I love her, both when she is a valiant knight in battle like in Fate/Zero, or when she is a cute and always hungry slice of life character like in Emiya-Gohan lol. Her attacks are nice and flashy and she's basically the face of the series. I know some people think she is bland, but I can't help but admire the things she does. - Sei Shonagon To be honest, this one is heavily influenced by the fact that I've read much of Sei Shonagon's pillow book and absolutely loved it, it is one of my favorite traditional Japanese works. But furthermore, the fact that they totally rolled with the Pillow Book's sort of "proto-blogger" style and basically made Sei into a VTuber is amazing. I absolutely love everything they did with her. Honestly, the list could go on for ages. Jeanne D'arc, Nero Claudius, Cleopatra, Arjuna Alter, Merlin, Tamamo no Mae, MHX and MHXA, and more... There are really so many fantastic servants. |
