So when do you all think Iino is gonna get her intro, i was expecting episode 6 or so but I wonder if they maybe are actually gonna dart to get that arc out of the way early on so that its all out of the way by episode 5 or so. I just hope we can adapt the chapter of her earphones not being all the way in or the one where pres and kaguya are trying to put her and ishigami into trust exercises but I dont recall if those are both farther along than what this season may adapt.

Also isnt the Kaguya secret technique with the hand chapter confirmed too, which chapter was that cause its past the sports festival I could of sworn

I think with Iino, they are gonna introduce her when they finish all the chapters they wanna adapt before she makes an appearance, it looks like episode 4 at the earliest and 6 the latest. Election can be done in a span of 3 episodes max.

With the technique, I honestly thought it was after the sports, but after re-reading, it was before and I was shocked, and it's listed under chapter 81. Pretty much near the finale. Any episode which requires her to use her technique will be adapted after she learns it ofc.

I honestly cannot wait for this season.

These are just confirmed, either from the PVs, interviews, special programs etc. Like the storage room was confirmed through an interview and there are other chapters too which I also forgot.

No probs. Also, I am certain that the shoujou/aquarium chapters will not be in the anime. Don't get me wrong, it's hilarious but it doesn't get referred back to again.

Its really not a planned thing cause its just a matter of how close her intro arc is to where they left off adapting, well know for sure cause the stargazing chapter will directly precede the start of her intro arc. I am betting on them getting to it sooner than later just given that the op doesnt hude that shes a mc.

So, my wild guess for the whole season for now are episode 3 (58, 36, 56), episode 4 (59, 60, [hopefully] 65, 61), episode 5 (66, 67, 68, 69), episode 6 (71, 72, 75 or 77), episode 8 (76, 78, 79), episode 9 (80, 81, 82), episode 10 (83, 85, 84), episode 11 (86 87, 88), episode 12 (89, 90, 91)

I've put the "must have" but there's place for more one more episode on the election arc + 1 or 2 chapters (hopefully 63 and 64) or something else entirely. (Chapter 70 [underwear] please)

The third must end with stargazing, the fourth would be the Council disbanding (+Iino introduction), the fifth the election and it's aftermath, sixth focus on Iino and her dinamics with the Council, the seventh I have no idea, which means my predictions are very very wrong, the eighth is Iino trying to quit and quacky doctor, ninth is routine and Ishidrag, 10th is Kei being a normal sibling plus dance training and the last two are the Sports Festival.

Edit: I just reread 66-69 and we need 67-69 as one episode so... maybe the fifth would be 63- 66, the sixth 67-69 and the seventh the Iino focused one????

That'd be ideal but we will see. Next episode makes it look like we really might just follow things in order so maybe miko really will be pretty late cause I think ep 1 might be the only one thats really gonna be 4 chapters. Personally, id prefer shooting through the election arc pretty quickly then scattering out some of the chapters that are more goofy standalone ones.

The ed beng so focused on the phone gives me hope this season might end on the perfect chapter for it with kaguya and her phone picture. I love the sports arc but that really works better for a penultimate ep than a final one. That should be the 2nd to last ep and the last episode can be the chapter directly following the sports festival and then the rest being the phone 2 parter. That would please me to no end even if its gonna need to skip ahead a bit.

Really hope theres some ovas or something to cover these skipped chapters though as to not bloat season 3, cause that season will be legendary if they adapt it right.

Actually it's the opposite, I thought it would be better to introduce Iino on the fourth episode and for some stupid reason thought that Kaguya's plans, the election and it's aftermath would fit perfectly in one episode, that's why I had no idea on what to do with the seventh.

However, if the cellphone arc is adapted in this season we will need to cram 4 chapters on some episodes. So I hope the ED is just foreshadowing it for the next season.

I just looked at my print volume. For me, 51 is the chapter where Nagisa visits the Student Council, and Kaguya and Miyuki fight about if cats or dogs are better.

I really do hope the school festival get's an animated treatment. Ishigami really deserves it. I actually had to shed a tear with that one. He's OUR guy afterall. Also I'd like to see the otaku chapter getting adapted. That was a fun one aswell.

In the case of The Promised Neverland, if they had 13 episodes they wouldn't have to cut on Monologues!! Further, it would have led to the perfect pacing of 3 chapters per episode (ch2-37) after episode 1!

Well atleast in Kaguya they can skip some chapters and bundle them in ova later!!

If I have to make a guess, episode 3 might end up adapting 4 chapters, it seems like it may work imo, let's say it adapts the moon gazing, fujimom, Hayasaka seduction and the disbandment of the student council.

If it adapts 3, I doubt the chapter with Hayasaka will be in episode 3, maybe 4, I feel like it fits the flow better. What do you think?

I'm conflicted about whether stargazing should end an episode or if the student council disbandment should. Something is telling me though fujimom episode is probably gonna end with an ed of fujiwara dancing again cause im positive they will try to capitalize on that again so if that is next ep i expect the council stuff to be pushed back

Oooh right, Hayasaka's seduction starts because she's mocking Kaguya after the moon gazing... I 100% agree that Hayasaka seduction need to be on episode 3, but if we have 4 chapters to adapt on it Hayasaka's would probably be the shortest again....

It does makes sense to put the disbandment here though, since it would make it easier to introduce Iino on the fourth...

We could move Fujimom but thinking that we will have another Fujimom episode on this season it'll probably be in the next episode...

It's not about popularity or success, it's how the show is structured, with episodes having chapter in a non-linear way and mostly being integral to characterization and plot, the chapters skipped could become an OVA but their structure inside one episode would fail, how do you get a part from an episode from chapter 49 and then chapter 83? Things will end up too disconnected and the quality of the episode itself would suffer

Looks like chpater 58, as I predicted, is not going to be in episode 3, I kinda got a hunch when I went back to the PV and noticed prez is not wearing the student council uniform, but rather his summer uniform. My concern now is the fujimom chapter 36. To me, it feels out of order after the events of episode 3, but that is just me.

Fujimom was for the second term opening ceremony, so... could we have a "flashback" like with Hayasaka Spy and get a double training episode?

I actually really like that they are just diving straight into this arc early in, get miko in faster and generally start the series off with a bang while spacing out the 2 dramatic moments. Man next episode is gonna be a great one especially for anime only people. I wonder if its gonna end with a tease of miko or if they will hold off on her

I think with a little tweaking they can adapt chapters from before it fine.

I hope not, i dont want fujiwara to even get another one of them to begin with cause it'd be more fun to see other characters get one or something, but sacrificing one of the hilarious fujimom chapters would be a shame

And it's not just hilarious, it's crucial for the rap arc, if they're hoping to do a next season, which they probably are, Fujimom needs to be properly adapted.

volume 9 is probably where it is gonna end, though the ending theme maybe implies that chapter 100 and 101 from volume 10 will be the chapter it ends on. Its kind of adapted out of order so its hard to tell

I'm still hoping they snag Miko Iino wants to relax from that later volume for this season but we will see.

Where is the confirmation for the Fujimom singing episode?

I was SO scared that this would not get adapted because not only is the Shirogane-Fujiwara dynamic so fuckin hilarious, but it becomes important in the plot for S3 as well. I had become worried when it wasn't in S1. I NEED this to be confirmed without a doubt in my mind before I raise my hopes.
