| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- At last the new chapter is released. Nanachi saying goodbye to Mity again and Belafu acted with noble intends. Faputa is being swallowed in her own fury and hatred to wreak havoc and destruction and Reg will have to make a choice. Will he be able to save the village and regain Faputa as well? I can't wait to see the outcome of this arc and discover what lies beyond the 6th layer! |

| That farewell between Belafu, Nanachi and Mitty was so touching. This manga never fails to amaze me everytime. Also the artwork, holy fuck I can feel all the emotions and hard work the author puts in every single panel. Faputa looks fucking mad |

| I feel like everything is happening too suddenly and that there should've been a few more chapters to explain everything. I'm also confused as to what's happening but that could be because I haven't read a new chapter in so long. |

| yeah i still kinda feel like bringing back mitty was a mistake. nothing the author could ever do would give it the punch needed to justify it since no matter what it would pale in comparison to the original mitty's story and end. im still not over how cute undamaged mitty is in that pot though lol belafu's art in this chapter was so gorgeous. this manga is almost a 10/10 from art alone honestly. i hope this arc gets resolved fairly quick though tbh. |

| Well I kinda agree that the new Mitty mini arc was kinda pointless. I guess it served a purpose to further Nanachi's growth as she was the one to "put Mitty down" this time around. Tho it was always just a fake clone that could never leave the village. Still it kinda just felt like a plot device to allow Faputa's ear to be brought into the village causing this entire mess. Well the village is gonna be in shambles. The curse has started to leak in and it looks like regardless of what Faputa does, that alone will lead to most of the Narehate to "dissolve" or whatever. Interested to see how Reg will deal with the consequences of his actions. |

| The only thing I'm concerned about right now is that the next chapter will probably take another few months at a minimum to be released due to corona. I genuinely think that the Made in Abyss manga is one of the best of its kind, it's just a shame that Tsukushi takes such a long time to publish chapters... |

Neverius said: I think a lot of people don't understand that this isn't the Mitty Nanachi killed, she is a perfect clone with another soul, a soul that didn't suffer both Bondrewd experimenting on her immortality and most important Nanachi multiple attemps to kill her, in that safe spot Nanachi could have lived until the end with a Mitty that Bun hasn't hurt, a Mitty that doesn't risk more suffering as Nanachi no longer can die any day like in the fourth layer, the real reason why Bun killed Mitty in the past. Nanachi was trying to kill Mitty because there wasn't any other choice in the past, but in her mind Bun wanted to stay with Mitty, be greedy and don't let go the reminders of her best friend, and so this chapter acts as a way to truly move on, Nanachi finally grieves Mitty as Bun kills her not because there isn't any choice but because it was Mitty's last wish and to finally move on and truly join Riko and Reg in their journey, not as a suicidal bunny making the death wait but as a explorer in the way to uncover the secrets of the Abyss. Thank you for putting into words what I feel towards this chapter. I really cried reading it, as if it's the first time Nanachi lets Mitty go. |
