| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A lot of narratives coming from their manager, Kiyoko. Honestly, I'm not too surprised. They're practically pushing the big important matches for the next cour. Way too much focus on Kiyoko's point of view though. But on the other hand, it kinda pushes her own enthuaism to the team with her excitement. Also, we do get to see some actual gameplay again so that's cool. Karasuno so far is making some entertaining plays. |

| Wow, it seems like main guy's shoes got swapped because the bag look the same as a child's. Showing how the manager became one from runner while getting it. Their opponent team is new? Setter guy is trying to get used to the new court. Megane guy's friend's serving improved and proved useful. Setter guy finally got used to it and duo is back. |

| whew the ost during that match was on fire. and man it only took 10 eps for Hinata to finally start seeing some action also thank goodness the issue with the bag switch got resolved as soon as possible. Would've been incredibly frustrating had it not been otherwise |

| Getting to see more of Kiyoko san was a bliss. When she tossed the bag to Hitoka it looked like she was passing the baton to her. The start of the match was pretty messy but with that last quick of Hinata and Kageyama they are finally back to normal. Totally hyped for the rest of the match. |

| I wish we would've gotten more Kiyoko in the first 3+ seasons. She is one of the more interesting characters in the show, and I feel like we barely knew anything about her up until a couple weeks ago. |

| Hinata losing his shoes.... poor Hinata and Yamaguchi, feeling so guilty. Luckily Shimizu was quick on her feet and saved the day! It was nice to hear her backstory a bit and to have the show focus on her, even if it was only for a few minutes. Glad to see Hinata and Kageyama find their rhythm again. And what a badass moment to go out on! Loved this episode. Really excited for the next one, as per usual!! |

| Oh, it's so nice to learn more about Kiyoko, she finally doesn't seem like just an accessory. And her connection to Yachi is sweet too. Interesting take on the match, they are nervous and confused by the new environment, but they still manage to overcome it. Kageyama's point of view and precision at the end were great. |

| Fantastic episode as always. Personally, I loved the bit with Shimizu this episode and it showcased her character really well. The part where she jumped the hurdle was great. Finally onto the actual match, surprised that Kageyama of all people was off his game for a while but when he recovered and they shot the quick, I was cheering. Loved the visualization for it as well. Can't wait for more, the hype is on! |

| I can't tell you how much I loved the spotlight being on Shimizu. She's such an important part of the team and I feel like she hasn't had enough credit. I'd be soooo overwhelmed by the unfamiliar and massively different court; such a huge number of people watching and the court itself is an intimidating size. I totally get why Kageyama took a while to get his bearing. It felt so satisfying when Kageyama & Hinata did their quick and there was that familiar gasp of surprise. |

| So much focus on Shimizu was definitely weird, like the bag literally only got switched so she can have some screentime. I didn't mind learning a little about her, what I did mind is that it happened in the fourth season, and in such an arbitrary way. Should have been in the first, maybe in the second, and a lot more natural. Still, technicalities aside, "shit happens to Hinata" just fit the bill, and the episode was great in its other details. Nobody got frustrated or mad when Kageyama needed time to adjust, which was nice to see - let's hope it doesn't come back to bite them in the ass. Yamaguchi got his moment to shine and saved the day, too. And the music was pretty much perfect in this episode btw, I rarely notice it but now it fit like a glove in every scene. Really enjoying Haikyuu so far, once again. |

| Man, this is what I've been yearning for! Kageyama acclimatizing and that wonderful display to get that across was just fantastic, I've missed this quick-freak duo attack from Karasuno! Now, the real game starts, lads! Lots of appreciable focus on Shimizu-senpai this episode too. And that jump from the road hurdle was awesome, "Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteru" must've helped I imagine. I really hope we'll get to see more of her since they've finally taken the time to flesh her character out. Got to say I'm very grateful that the "bag-swap" bit didn't affect the match too much, though. It could've easily trampled on their dreams had things gone slightly different so props to Shimizu-senpai again for the save. Can't wait to see next episode! Just three more episodes so I'm guessing we'll finish off with this match plus the set-up of the second or something of the sort... |

| Fuck, the bag-swap is fucking killing me since I have same close experience as that. Except it's my fault and not other people T_T That aside, I feel like Tsubakihara is not at the same level of Shiratorizawa/Aoba Jousai. If Kageyama fucked this up vs Shiratorizawa, they get fucked hard. Or maybe they will have some secret moves? Idk. |
| Lol that bag swap though, Hinata can never seem to catch a break. Thankfully it ended up not being a huge problem and was resolved quickly. Karasuno got off to a rough start but with that last quick it looks like Kageyama has found his rhythm again. Looking forward to the rest of the match. |

| Uhm... a bit too late the decision of finally giving characterization to a character I couldn't care less about. It was still welcome tho. Nice episode overall. Can't wait to see the team finally shining now that Kageyama got comfortable. |

| I loved the Kageyama adjusting time of the end and I couldn't help scream to the unknown rival team "Just wait they'll kick your asses" Like all of them are thinking it was something about a lucky moment the reason why the won to Shiratorizawa. That pissed me off. Shimizu's past was touching and unexpected to me the same time but enjoyed see it. I'am hungry of see real matches animated as I'am on my limit rigth now, I hope they'll animate at least 2 matchs before this season gets over. |
