Both Piccolo and Vegeta were brilliantly done. Dragon Ball isn't known for its stellar story-telling, but those 2 redemption arcs are one of the few story pieces I'm going to have to praise it for, and have yet to seen it done better in other anime.

Vegeta and Itachi's redemption is the bomb, IMO.

I agree!Well i like piccolo´s more not only because i am biased since he is my favourite character,but also because i find his character much more interesting since he is not another saiyan.

Shounen's seem to to have more villain redemptions than other animes. Could be because it takes a lot of focus for a good redemption arc. I think kaiki from monogatari and ryouko from parasyte also had good redemption storylines.

My boy Kaiki Deishuu definitely has the best redemption arc. I've never seen a villain climb to best girl status so fast.

Zuko, contrary to popular belief was only forgiven for plot's sake. I can assure you that yeah Katara "forgave" him for muh boi Aang and only for him. Wouldst thou believe me that I, a hardcore bloodthristy Christian boi with Deus Vult tattooed on my lovely butt would consider not forgiving him. He broke everyone's trust twice and people accept his past sins as if they hadn't even happened because of his good appearence. Like, for real imagine him with Book 1 appearance. Yeah it wouldn't fly.

P.S. Yes Abataru ish an animu.
