Even though I was expecting Nat-chan to die based on all of the death flags from previous episodes, throughout this episode, they made it seem like it might've been a bait & switch, and that Tarantula was going to save her in the end and turn to the path of good... so when Natsume STILL ended up dying, I actually managed to be pretty surprised. Nice job, writing team. |
