| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A bunch of exposition and boring buildup in the first half. The pacing somewhat picked up from there with everyone ready to do their work. Ofc, we had to have Chihiro dealing with his own personal demons again... Yuri also seems to ready to abandon him? |

| BOOOOOOOOOORING. Again, yet another episode where the content just is so bland and uninteresting that my mind fades to another world whilst seeing this show. Lot of exposition in this episode and if you want to have exposition heavy episodes, the content must be of high standards, or they would fail miserably. An anime like Monogatari succeeds with interesting exposition, and whenever I see Lord of Vermilion showcase loads of exposition, god it just bores the shit out of me. Sure they both are completely different types of shows, but still. They have the same job in keeping me riveted, and Lord of Vermilion's drama and exposition just fails. I still watch this since I feel guilty af for dropping shows, even if they are complete garbage. |
| I really don't like that red hair church girl, she just messed up everything. it could have worked even with Kurokami death. Also as others have mentioned about the doctor, Kurokami is also preset in the first episode scene. So either they somehow gonna find a way to resurrect them all or its all happening/ happened on an another world/time line thing. |
| There so many top class VA in this show but the show itself is really underwhelming... 3/5. |

| We got a Julie-Julie now. Since they were introduced so soon, that means that they're dying first... "It's easy to tell someone to die, but it's hard to tell them to live, especially for someone who's about to be killed." Surprisingly true... So Chihiro's dad went crazy after Chihiro's mom disappeared. Kind of felt that that was just thrown in there... This jumping back and forth with Yuri and Chihiro and Marie makes the watching flow really bad. Aand Marie just dies. So much for that... Yuri gets bitch-slapped and beaten with a stick...harsh... Was that Chihiro's dad at the end? So this episode was nothing more than to tell us about what happened to Chihiro and his dad, and to show that Yuri is a traitor immediately after joining. Where exactly are we going now? Well Marie had something on her phone about certain locations. I guess we're going to be going through with destroying the barriers in Tokyo... |
