| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah shogi... Shikadai getting some spotlight this episode with his Father. (the part with Temari is priceless LOL) Boruto and his friends run into some trouble as usual. I'm hoping they expand the story/plot based on the events of this episode. The thief may be stealing but his intentions aren't malicious. |

| Noble thieves really do have some decent goals. I’m more interested in Shikidai’s role in this arc more than anything else. Temari’s rage is priceless!  |

| So the hostage crisis was just a diversion eh. Smart thinking for the thieves. To think that their enemies this time are a gang of thieves. Ice jutsu eh. But it will allow the user to negate the security of that vault though. Shogi is a good game to teach Shikadai though. Temari is still as fiery as ever i see. A real life robin hood huh. Sometimes whats morally wrong can also be ethically right as well. But looks like the thieves are planning their next moves. |

| ooh, this episode was interesting... did anyone else think of haku when they mentioned ice style. hehheh, shows how much i miss 'Naruto'... but then again i've constantly been comparing 'Boruto to the 'Naruto series' their drawing closer to the chunin exams though... with the introduction of that scientist -is he the same as the one from the movie, i cant really remember ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , but anyways. they've at least reached this point (of introducing that science department) |

| Hm, Shikadai befriended a trap who's most likely the masked Ice Style user. I can already see the Haku comparisons.... Looks like Shikadai will be the focus of this arc as they deal with this Byakuya Gang. Next episode looks interesting, and things will probably get more dangerous as we saw a brief glimpse of Metal in the hospital. Like I said in the previous episode thread, I love seeing the original characters so Temari's brief appearance was a pleasant sight. |

| This was an interesting episode. Shikadai has a shogi partner now, who's very likely to be the masked thief. The thief is quite smart with that diversion. Looking forward to see what Shikadai's role is next week. Temari’s rage was great! |

| so they introduce the inventor guy who create ninja tools in the movie. looks like we're getting closer to the movie. and here I thought the ice user thing would end up in one episode. |
| This was better than expected, I didn’t want this episode to be the I'm stealing because I'm a ninja without war and this is the only way that I can live now in a world without war(s) [seeking conflict to satiated the need of fighting]… but the moral ambiguity of steal from the rich for the poor (is it right or wrong) is a better way for giving Boruto & company a better understanding of the world (not everything is sunshine & rainbow even if you have a great leader/government) like the way he was pondering at the end of this episode thus growing a bit more as a character. |

| I lost it when Temari keeps telling them "Dinner is ready" while Shikamaru and Shikadai keeps babbling about Shogi and the past until Temari losts her temper. Hahahahaha, like father like son! |
| The Temari scene was funny, nice to see her after a long time. Shikadai got a new friend and playing Shogi together was sweet. I hope the kid comes to play shogi with Shikadai again. Well, the jewel is going to be sold anyway no matter if Boruto disrupts the enemies plan or not. I thought the guy in the mask is affiliated with the Anbu black ops xD 5/5 |

| I begin to doubt that the Byakuya gang is actually taking from the rich and giving it to the poor. I think there is a deeper plan behind. Why would they do that so suddenly. Maybe they want the people's support for their plan whatever that might be. I see that Temari still got the juice. I am glad they didn't make her a regularly housewife, so even she could be useful. Would like to see the other grown-up girls in action too. Also, her power isn't that weak. With those strong wind blades his mask should have been torn off and maybe get more damaged. I think they underestimated her power a bit to make the arc more interesting. ^^ We finally got to see Udon, or better said Udon-sensei. Too bad he doesn't have snot coming out of his nose. I mean that was his characteristic. Too bad they removed that. And why did they have to change his hair color? I liked the old one better. |
