| not my fave episode, but seeing ayu in a santa outfit was ^___^ <3 . mayama was uber cute in this episode too.. morita: "he probably went to the apartment he stalks, saw the lights were off, got depressed and came here" mayama's shirt: "right on the spot" hahaa |

| I know it's early, but honestly, I KNOW this anime is going into my top 5. There's just so much of it that relates to my own life. Yes, we had 'The Last Ever Christmas Party' as well, so this episode resonates pretty strongly with me :'-) |

| Another awesome ep! Morita really does have everyone figured out. He sees Hagu is having trouble with her project and makes her that broach but doesn’t want any recognition. Takemoto doesn’t want to tell her initally, probably because he likes her, but decides to after, only to be stopped by Morita. Takemoto realizes that things are going to get complicated from here on out and tries to remember this last party as a cherished memory. I really want to get on board for one of the relationships that Mayama will have but I just can’t. I like both Rika and Yamada but I guess there hasn’t been too much development yet as to why one of them is better for the other. All we know is that Mayama likes Rika and Yamada likes Mayama. I'm loving the ED and the piano version of it that was playing during the episode =) |

| I really loved this episode. Morita is freaking awesome and i love he basically understands everyones feelings and tries to help them out in someway. Plus he's hilarious. Loving this series. |

Manifest said: This show personifies unrequited love That does seem to be the direction this is heading. To sum up the situation as I see it: Morita had a weird obsession turned friendship with Hagu. He's friends with both Takemoto and Mayama. He's rather perceptive, taking note of all the various situations around him. Sympathizing with Yamada, he seems to have started liking her. His job is an unknown. Takemoto likes Hagu, and has grown wary/jealous of Morita. He's friends with everyone else. Hagu likes Morita, who is currently blowing her off (partly for Takemoto's sake, partly because he likes Yamada). She considers Shuuji to be a father figure and misses him. Yamada is in love with Mayama, who is aware of her feelings yet doesn't address them. She refuses to pressure him out of fear of rejection. She is appreciative to Morita for his supporting/helping her handle her problem. She's close friends with Hagu, and she's friends with Takemoto as well. Mayama is in love with Rika, a widow who's still grieving the loss of her husband. He's friends with everyone. His relationship with Yamada is shaky since he doesn't want to give her the wrong idea, while simultaneously trying not to crush her. He has a respect for Shuuji. Shuuji is close friends with Rika and seems to be trying to ease the problems of the college students as best as he can. He treats Hagu like a daughter. Rika is slowly being won over by Mayama, but still grieves her husband. She knowingly takes advantage of Mayama and feels guilty over it, hoping he'll just move on. With things as they are, I would conclude that Morita is the most important character moving forward. He has the best understanding of what's going on and is closely connected to every character. Thus, his actions will have the most influence. |

| Again, Morita's insight is commendable. Although, recognising Mayama as a stalker that he is, isn't all that difficult, in retrospect. |

| At first I thought this episode was going to be happier, i’d lead myself to believe the tears from Hagu touching the sand paper were ones of joy, then we had Yamada and Hagu scene. That was amazing I teared up a bit over that one, Noyima MVP for have the right words to say to Yamada at the right time. But I really should have known that this wasn’t going to actually be happy, the episode opened with Kaoru having disappeared and Morita not knowing where he had gone, also the initial implication that Kaoru may be able to do something stupid, which was thankful removed later during the episode. We go on to learn that Hagu currently has no feeling in the figures on her right hand, and the stress is driving her to bite herself, part of me also wonder if it was also to reassure herself that she is still capable of feeling something even if its in her left hand. Finally Takamoto, I kind of want to punch him in the face and tell him to stop being an idiot, but at least he is being partly rational about what is going on and aware that he is really just making excuses. I feel like the best thing for him really would be to take the job with the temple restoration guys, he really needs the skills and experience that this will give him. I do wonder if we will end up with not everyone in couples, I do think that Yamada and Noyima will become a thing, however Rike & Mayama I don’t think will become a true couple, and at this rate Hagu & Takamoto may not workout, still time to fix this one but feels like it's definitely a possibility |
