| Now now, I never involved in any shipping wars before but I know some of you might had had one or two experiences about it. While I never actively joined shipping wars, but I do enjoyed reading their banter lmao. Sorry. Some of the worst ones I've seen is Naruto (Naruhina vs Narusaku) and Bleach (Ichiruki vs Ichihime) but not as nasty as Naruto. As for here at MAL, I've seen how Re:Zero fandom divided to Team Emilia and Team Rem. Don't forget about Digimon Adventure 02. That whole Tai x Sora salt because Yamato x Sora canon ending. If we are talking about shows outside anime, Avatar fandom also had it's fair share of nasty shipping wars (Zutara vs Kataang, MaKorra vs Korrasami). Also Harry Potter (Harry x Hermione vs Ron x Hermione). Shipping wars and waifu wars is technically the same thing, imo. Yep, some people took this shipping matters too seriously. While I'm not one to talk, but if they start bashing the shippers for what they ship (or worse, the author), I'm out. So, which fandom/anime do you think had the nastiest/worst shipping war? | As far as I know anime wise, either the ones of Bleach or Naruto (who spawned over 15 years with bloody debates), the ones of Digimon 02 (seriously one of the dumbest shipping wars I have seen in my life, I can't believe people got mad for a pairing in a series for kids) or the waifu war of Oreimo (who still salts the hearts of people to these days and occasionated outrages of this likes): The Tokyo Ghoul fandom also deserves an special mention after that fujoshi outrage. The one of Re: Zero too, because that is one who I followed week by week and it was honestly the Dead Sea (it's also helps it's one of the most recents). There are also the Fate waifu wars, but Fate itself is very salty, so that's a given. I would mention Nisekoi too, but imo, it wasn't as bad as the other mentioned above. I personally lived the Bleach shipping wars (when the series was in it's peak, mind you), and that was the absolute Hell. I still have PTSD from those days, seriously. |

| Definitely Kyo Kara Maoh. It's not waifu war, I don't even know what war it is but it's completely one-sided and they quickly search for and silence anyone who doesn't ship straight MC x gay abusive tsundere. The thing is you don't even need to be involved out of your own free will, those jobless fujoshit jerks are always lurking around everywhere to search for your comments and attack you. Luckily MAL seems so be safe so far. |

Can't really seem to think of anything else, but in my opinion, both Nisekoi and Re:Zero seem to be high up there. I personally love creating ships (just happens naturally) so of course, when I comment my favorite ship, I'm bound to receive either praise or hate for it, but overall, I just consider it all fun and games. Some people definitely take it too far, but I mean, there's always going to be people who will take things too far in like almost anything, really. Oh, there was also Golden Time. Ps: From these three anime, Emilia, Chitoge, and Koko r the best grills hands down |

| i was a part of that 15 year war between ichiruki & ichihime. and i'm not over it lmao. screw orihime, rukia #1. i rmber i also made a few posts about how rem is more suited for male lead than emilia, simply because emilia's too good for someone like him (-: i don't get as into shipping wars as much as more extreme peeps, but i'm down to waste 2-3 hours defending my ships. otherwise yeah, when naruto end game couples were out, it was scary LOL. people went nuts on tumblr and i basically had to blacklist any tags with naruto for a month. like i think that was the first time i've seen people actually verbally attacking each other than just talk about characters. |

| Shipping wars isn't something I'm much into. I cared in True Tears and I kinda care in Shokugeki no Souma, but that's about the extent of it, and even in those exception cases I'm not passionate about it. |

| Well, I've seen many such 'battles' out there and when I finally got into the middle of one, it did not go as premeditated really despite my initial elation to say the least. I'm talking about the Re;Zero shipping war by the way. Apparently, I was in the minor side supporting Emilia x Subaru and received countless criticisms as well as supports. Originally, I was in a mind state where I was alright with even Rem x Subaru but as the war continued I became more and more resilient and therefore began to see this ship menacingly. Overall, it was a fun and unique experience despite I definitely being a victim of it. I also took part slightly in the Bleach 15-year war and the one in Attack on Titan regarding Mikasa x Eren, but those were just secondary in comparison to the Re; Zero's one. |

| Well there are NagiAsu because it have rather colorful love chart. Nearly everyone have an attraction to each other so it's to be expecped that there will be heart that get hurt. On a side note there are not much salt as I imagine from Nisekoi fandom. |

| Don't know if it's the worst but Inu Yasha has it pretty bad with the InuYasha-Kagome and InuYasha-Kikyo shippers. I'd uploaded a video on Youtube, wherein Inu Yasha proposes to Kikyo and the comments section is full of hate comments from fans of either ship. |
