| Normal friend's side when Natsume first transferred. He notices Natsume is always alone and wanted to help him out. He unconsciously got trapped by the ayakashi and became darkhearted. Natsume helped him out. He, in return, helped him with origami. His brother, who is busy with university entrance exam thus his mood is usually not good, also helped Natsume in his way. Another normal friend's side. He got along with Natsume as well more with Kimura-san's character. Future planning... He also unconsciously got trapped in a space created by an ayakashi searching for a bell. |

| It's always nice too see how friendship is formed. And it was worth seeing the past, what happened before the first season. I still wonder about a few things tho. |

| Sad week continues now with this heartwarming episode of Natsume, showing up more of his past, watching how he becomes friends with his closer school friends... boy, their sight of natsume is pretty deep that "I want to stay here even if it's hard" thing that Natsume said has a very powerful meaning. how much he appreciates the Fujiwara family wanting to stay with him, he wouldn't bear to lose them over a Youkai, so that means the "hard" part that talk between Nyanko-sensei and Natsume when they saved Nishimura shed a Manly tear :'( |

| I really liked this episode. Learning more about a couple of his first high school friends was really interesting. To (not) see things from their perspective was cool. I've watched every season, and even though the episodes are mainly episodic, there is a slow spiral of info being built that deepens our understanding of everything. This show is like The X-Files had a baby with Bob Ross' The Joy of Painting. Bob's ASMR voice and the show's super understated tone remind me a lot of what happens with Natsume, except with weird stuff from The X-Files. |

| It's nice to know how both Nishimura and Kitamoto viewed Natsume when he first appeared in their lives and how certain circumstances eventually led up to their friendship. I'm glad these two are a part of Natsume's life 'cause they taught Natsume experiences friends usually do and helped him be himself :) Also, Nishimura....Nyanko-Sensei's a cat, not a girl lol |

| Oh, God! That episode was so beautiful. As always, every episode makes me love this anime more. I'm having a feeling that Nishimura and Kitamoto know that Natsume can really see a youkai, but they decided to not ask Natsume about it because they thought that Natsume will get away from them because they think that Natsume don't want them two in danger or something (just like Natsume with Tanuma). Ugh. This episode is just everything and it makes me trust Nishimura and Kitamoto more. As always, the ED didn't help at all. It made me cry YET AGAIN! :') |

| Lovely episode. Nice to see how Nishimura & Kitamoto became friends with Natsume as well as know more about them. Natsume's lucky to have them. Nice to see Sasada again. Would be nice to see more of her in the show. Cool more Reiko next ep. |

| Great episode like another... - Nice to see how Nishimura and Kitamoto POV. - natsume with hair bit messy looks so hot - Kitamoto, Nishimura, tanuma, and Taki already become natsume bestfriends but sasada? Haaha... Natsume always avoid her. lol Next episode we have Reiko. yeayy |
| I love when this show gives some back story & depth to the supporting characters. This world has so many layers. Just beautiful and effortless. Kyaaaaaaa~~~ |
| We saw more of the past and now we know why Natsume's friends with Kitamoto and Nishimura. The second part of the episode was a little creepy, but very nice and atmospheric. Finally we see the event's from normal people's POV. Can't wait for the next week's episode, we'll finally see a lot more of Reiko than we ever saw. |

| Pretty interesting to see how Natsume became friends with Kitamoto and Nishimura, especially seeing as they've both seen some hints of Natsume's encounters with yokai and hence have some suspicions. Whether that's gonna be relevant or not is another matter entirely, but it's an interesting allusion nevertheless. Also, really excited that we're gonna be seeing Reiko again next week; it feels like it's been a long, long time since we last really saw her. |
| Wow! Really good at telling a new perspective, always the same topic, that is, the past of Natsume. I really liked this episode because it is a way of knowing Nishimura and Kitamoto, both as characters and in the role they have in their families respectively. I hope that in the future, they will make us better known, even the character of Sasada. <3 |

| I liked the episode and learning that his two normal friends actually had an inkling of Natsume's other life even though Natsume tries so hard to protect those two from it is nice. It's like knowing that Natsume is not fighting alone no matter what. They had a feeling about it even before Natsume met Tanuma and Taki. I felt like the episode needed more of something though. Kind of anticlimactic compared to the last two episodes. I was expecting to hear more about Natori and the book, but this is a nice episode too. |

| I thought this was a flashback episode, but all the talk about university confused me. That's usually saved for 3rd year high school. But he just transferred to this school in the episode. This timeline is confusing to me. This must have been about 3rd year middle school, but why were they talking about transferring to university and no mention of choosing a high school |

| I really like how this episode gave us the perspective of people unable to see youkai. It helps to both reinforce what Natsume has been dealing with through the eyes of his peers as well as to appreciate the fortunate company that he now keeps. It's an important lesson in how, even if you can't fully understand someone else or their circumstances, you can still take them at their own pace. |
