| One may either love or hat her, however, the answer itself doesn't really matter. That is her charm, she evokes strong feelings. Akane is a very well fleshed out character, she may be a complete bitch, but she won't leave anyone impartial. Her motives and aspirations are rather clear (at least to the viewers, much less so to her peers), despite being exceedingly controversial. In that respect, the OP's question could be posed in another manner – Do you like Akane as a character? If so, I cannot help but to agree. (My personal favourite is Awaya's goddess-like senpai, by the way.) |

| Hana gives her a run for her money,but Akane's definitely up there going toe to toe with her. She's bored, wants to have some fun and we get entertained as a result ~ what more can ya ask ? :P To be honest,she teaches all of her usually naive victims a lesson and since she's mostly in it for the lulz, it's not as harsh as it could be. Would be way worse if she'd go at it for the long-haul, put the guy in debt while leaving him emotionally scared as well for who knows how long. Her "relationships" on the other hand don't seem to last long at all, hardly long enough to leave lasting damage. |

| Lmfao. No. She's an awful person, leagues above any other character. She's also really one-dimensional. Think about what her motivations are: -She wants to have fun -She wants to live on her own terms -She wants what others want That's a horrible person. She has shown no redeemable or likeable qualities, in fact, the more the writers reveal about her past, the more awful she becomes. I have no reason to desire anything good for her. She may win the "best plot device" award or "most entertaining," but writing-wise she's horrible and is single-handedly dragging down the quality of the anime for me. She's not a well-written character. She's not a good person. |

| It's hard to put a best character from a show where everyone is intentionally as fucked up as possible I'd probably say Hana if I had to pick anyone though as she is so far the most developed one (unsurprisingly) but it's a show which is more about the character's relationships than having likable characters per se |
