As far as I can see manga doesn't have ratings. Other possible requirement suggestions: A manga that was featured, A requirement involving how many Recommendations/Reviews it has, more genre mixing requirements? (comedy/sci-fi, comedy/supernatural, comedy/shounen, comedy/shoujo, etc.) Quick edits: there's a [/center] by the title of the comedy challenge, it's not centered. Url is showing for Nakayoshi. |

| What's the stance going to be on light novels? The official manga challenge doesn't allow them but can we use them for challenges here? Personally, even if we don't allow them for normal challenges, I think it'd be cool to have a light novel specific challenge. Also on that note what about manhwa and manhua? Will they count for any challenge that doesn't specify otherwise? Or will they only count for challenges that specifically allow them? |

| Was just curious if the Comedy Challenge was going to be changed to be repeatable and allow already read for the first easy like romance and fantasy or is it going to stay the same as it is currently? |

| I was doing a little pre-emptive planning and I noticed an issue with the numbers challenge for manga. The numbers challenge is meant to be done up to three times per number in order to get all 3 badges, but the "read a manga with # of members" criteria is still using the #1 = 10000-19999 member counts from the anime challenge. At the 1-4 challenges we have now this is fine, but by the time you hit 8 there is only 5 manga that qualify and 9 only has 1, which means if you've read three of the qualifing manga for #8 (likely as they are in the top 10 manga in popularity) you can't finish the challenge 3 times and #9 you could never finish more than once (or 0 times if you've already read Deadman Wonderland). I was thinking we should either lower the threshold to 1000-1999, 2000-2999, etc or even better just add those so you could use something with either 1000-1999 or 10000-19999 for challenge #1, etc. |

| Regarding the One-shot-Challenge: If the one-shots are collected under one volume but it is clear, that they actually are one-shots (i.e. the three collected in Love Letter), do they count individually for the challenge? Or is it that only "Type: one-shot"s are allowed? I don't mean to trick the system here, but this seems like a grey area to me, because they aren't individually implemented into the db. |

Only the one-shot type. Collection of one-shots under one volume are anthologies and that's manga type. | this is more of a personal issue, but for the horror challenge's requirement to read a manga that started publishing the season i joined MAL (winter 2014), i looked up all the manga listed there and all are either completely untranslated, or only a few chapters were released and haven't been updated in years. id just like to know what to do (im doing hard difficulty so i cant just choose another requirement to replace it :P) |

| For the CLAMP challenge, I can't find these manga anywhere online: Cluster, Combination, Hagun Seisenki, K-Dash, Mokona Oujo no Ehon, Shoten, and Souryuuden Gengashuu. Does anyone know where/if they're available? |
| For the Shoujo-Ai challenge, there's one called "read a manhua". There's only one manhua tagged "yuri" or "shoujo-ai", and it's an on-going web comic that got partially published. Can something be done about that or do I need to read that particular manhua? |

| I've noticed that the search links mentioned in all Released 20XX Challenges filter out yuri, yaoi and hentai. Does that mean I can't use those genres? |

Oh, of course you can use them as well. We just excluded them from the default search in case someone doesn't want to read any of those - let's call 'em NSFW-genres. |

| About the Shounen Ai Challenge. It says.... "Previously completed allowed only if you run out of translated manga for a certain requirement. Mark such entries in italics". I am fairly confident that I can complete this... "NOTE: This challenge can be attempted twice. For this you have to complete previous try. Your second try has to be in a new post, with new entries. You must not add anything to your first try (previous post) after completed. Doing this challenge twice will earn you a x2 Badge. The badge will be of the same series, except with two images alternating/flashing (could be a GIF)." But it would be all previously read. Can I still do this challenge with my previously read? |

| @foxxykat1223 Well, technically you can turn it in twice if there aren't any shounen ai/yaoi-titles left for you (looking at your 2k completed titles, which surely won't be checked by us...*cough*). Just make sure you don't use the same manga as in your first post. But... bakaupdates lists ~13.6k scanlated titles (DJs included, Oneshots excluded). You could take the hard road and look for titles you haven't read yet. If it's not added to the MAL-db, just link to the title on bakaupdates. ;) |

| Doujinshi Challenge Easy 15 // Medium 30 // Hard 45 My question is if I do 45 in one go do I complete all 3? Or do I have to do 15, 30, then 45. If I have to do the latter, I need to un-submit my turn in for it until I can rearrange it. |
