Protagonists who introspectively change according to something they experience, something that makes them grow towards a certain end that would ultimately influence their mindset. I have a soft spot for characters who start off weak and lacking, characters who develop and grow towards maturity because of what happens around them.

OP characters are fine too as long as there's a sense of fun with how OP they are rather than leaving things as "they can do what they do just because".

Basically, all types of characters can be made enjoyable to watch to me so I like many types like for example:

- The cool cooler Coolest whos is meant to be admired like Kamina and Sakamoto
- The Smart baddass like Kitsurugu Emya
- The lazy, yet assuming and baddass when needed like Gintoki
- The ass wooping lady like Balsa and Makoto kusanagi
- The ones who try to find a purpose in life like Mob and Guts.
- The onss who grow up in the series like Edward Elric.
- The ones who have serious issues like Shinji Hikari

And many many others

MC that does't pull power out of his ass but either works for it or is devious enought to win when he is weaker.

Those that are straight-forward and say what they honestly think of others be it a bad person or a love interest. Being lazy but serious active when needed to.

Ones who don't want to save everyone and can kill when they need too

Pour exemple King Ken Kaneki-kun
Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg... and my arm... even my fingers. The body I've lost... the comrades I've lost... won't stop hurting... It's like they're all still there. You feel it, too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past."

The anti-hero type, like Gilgamesh and Kirei. I hate dumb and shy protagonists like tsuna. Tho the bit dumb, but loud and energetic (natsu, naruto) are fine

I really like protagonist that are calm and collected. They can be slightly weaker from the start then become stronger in the end(But not too OP). They are not perverts(Hentai) or blush whenever a girl is near.

I like protagonists that are not a push-over meaning they don't let people step insult, humiliate them etc. Who can kill when necessary to save others and finally can handle women without turning into some lame prepubescent boy. Lastly they have to be able to use their heads somewhat, I'm not asking for a Lelouch but they should be able to think critically. It's very rare to have one protagonist with all of the qualities I mentioned but I seen some have one or two in them.

A harem mc that knows that he has a harem and rape them all.

...

Okay fine, I like MCs that are actually realistic, not like a cute girl who fucking blushes all the time or a mc that fucking likes something and never stop pursuing it because he's too OP and they like to show off. I like MCs that really has logic, don't get surprised everytime and think carelessly. Also, +1 if she's/he's a shut-in.

Kirei isn't a hero. He's a downright villain. Even at the start he isn't really heroic.

I guess Gil can be seen as an antihero if clearing out most of the world's population is a good thing.

Hmm, an interesting one, I suppose, I like somebody that is intelligent, intriguing and has interesting and complex thoughts and dialogues. I like it better when a character is well 'built-up' from the beggining and only has slight character development rather than the opposite, cause I prefer it more when a character's ideas, thoughts and relationships are expanded on rather than their personalities. Though as long as they're well-written and portrayed, I like most protagonists.

-Roronoa Zoro (One Piece)
-Saitama (One Punch Man)

This^ I also like Alucard style. Badass/lazy/unmotivated characters basically.

2. Badass and quiet. For example, hei, itachi and zoro.
3. Idiotic but hilarious. For example. Sawamura.
4. The anti-hero. For example, mugen, light and lelouch.
5 . Kind-hearted and outgoing characters. For example, Aladdin and the usual shounen MC.
