| Mine exactly the same as -Animoos- Category: Playing sound, other (obtrusive) Description: Fire Emblem game advertisement. Takes up bottom third of screen, when mouse hovers over it it enlarges to almost half the screen and auto plays sound which do not stop unless you close the ad with a small 'X' symbol, which sometimes opens the advertisement link anyway. Makes navigating the page a hassle as it is covering the screen whether you scroll up or down, and cannot be removed unless you open it up and click the 'X'. A scourge for all internet users. | As of today, I'm seeing a new type of invasive ad all around the forum pages (the black bars in the picture below)(they link to a game named Fortnite by epicgames.com): cat: other I'm in France, on pc, Win 7 and Firefox MAL url: any forum page redirect link: https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/fr/buy-now/deluxe?utm_source=venatus&utm_medium=display&utm_campaign=fnlaunchbrand Is it normal, or do I have some kind of virus? If it's normal I'd appreciate if you got rid of those types of ad because they extend the loading time plus kind of stretch the forum page. Thank you in advance. EDIT: well in the end it was probably some canvas fingerprinting scripts on my side, I had problems on over sites but on MAL it was surprisingly invasive. Added a few filters to my ABP. Consider this solved. |

| Not sure what it was but the email team said post my issue here. So i was on A silent Voice's anime page and i kept it open for awhile and all of the sudden i got the fake spam microsoft alert saying contact microsoft. Again not sure what caused it but only that page did it no other tabs i have open did it i always have more than one tab open since i'm on Twitter all the time. |
