| Also when I click on a preselected entry it would be nice if my query wasn't always in the address bar, it's messy when it comes to linking things. Cool. -You still can't browse by type. -When you search for a phrase in a particular DB (ie, the anime one), you can't sort by title. -Searching still returns 20 pages+ of results, including really irrelevant ones. There is no way to simply search the title (whether it's the main title or main title + English title + synonyms + Japanese title) of an entry, which is what I'm assuming most people are after. -The design of the search pages is still not up to date with what the seasonal page uses (minus the genre and studio pages, but only if you select something from the main anime page and not if you use the advanced search), which IIRC was something that they said would happen when they changed that design months ago. -You can't choose which columns to view if you simply want to browse a letter (or a type). |

| ... oh, not totally, so the watered down search has returned? having a predictive search in the quicksearch is fine, but in the main search page no (this page), there should be a "precise search", which was the old algorithm, where only the titles matching the search got showed, and not anything else which shares 1 or 2 letters example, if i search "one piece" i should find all shows from the serie one piece, and not "Grimm Masterpiece Theater" "Uta Kata" "Omake", and 20 other pages of similar "humanly" unrelated results having a loose search defeats the purpose of sorting inside a search result, since there is no restricted search result, thus the sorting becomes useless Zazie122 said: -You still can't browse by type. | It's a very welcomed addition. There needs to be a sorting option, however. Searching for "Final Fantasy XV Brotherhood" gives me Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood first. This tampers with my mental situation. |
