Otherwise, the bits of background storytelling felt a bit expansive imo but still works quite well when it's explained in details. Glad to see Kindaichi for figuring it out before it was too late. Good episode overall, this has been a rather personal conflict/arc. |

| That case took a dark turn at the end. Overall, this season (especially its second half) didn't really live up to the first season of Returns. That being said, I'll definitely tune in if they continue this franchise. I never get why it's so extremely unpopular on MAL. |

He already killed the 3 who is responsible for his mom's death... Kindaichi spouting some bs... Wonder what he will do if that happens to him.. |

| Almost all cases in this anime is about Revenge and the victims actually deserved to die. 6/10 |
| I'm glad that suspect did even one good thing and turned to the police, but still in the end, there was one who suffered in the background, to solve case which was with his old friends, and to capture murderer. Really, really sad case... |

| Apparently revenge is not a sweet thing The ending, I feel sad for Kindaichi :( I just hope he won't blame himself for that I need another season of Kindaichi Especially with the way they ended Detective Q anime :( |

| Damn, this case turned out to be something depressing. I can sympathize with the murderer - not that I would murder anyone but I understand his rage. The hole in the wall was obvious but not the rice field trick. So, this is the end of a great detective mystery anime. It's time I finish the old Kindaichi. I'm only 20 episodes in after all! |
| The season ends rather anticlimactically, but in also a very sad and somber way. Sure the victims probably deserved to die, but man, think about the “what IFs” in life. It really sucks, and Kindaichi understood and got subtly emotional about it cause he understood the weight of choices and decisions in life (even the little ones) and how it can really affect people in the long term. |

| Never have I been as attached to a case much like this one. It's just too tragic and seeing things like these happen to those familiar to you just makes it even more unbearable to endure. Seeing Kindaichi like that made me tear up, doesn't help that the culprit this time was also somehow someone you can sympathize with. Overall a good season, I really enjoyed most of the cases on this one and how tragic some of these cases are made me emotional at times. |
| I expected a bit more for being the final arc of the series., Best arc this season was the rose mansion. Feels sad that this is the end of the series in terms of anime. Getting a sequel seems quite impossible but it is what it is. |
