| This season I'm planning to watch or already watched the following (not including ones carrying over from previous season): Muv Luv Alternative - Schwarzesmarken: I'm a huge fanboy of the original trilogy VN (Muv Luv Extra, Unlimited and Alternative). I have high hopes that this one will be good unlike the shit tier spinoff that was Total Eclipse. Musaigen no Phantom World: Kyoani? Fanservice with top tier visuals? Count me in Boku Dake ga Inai Machi: So far so good. I can see this becoming AOTS Durarara!!x2 Ketsu: More Durararara.... Dagashi Kashi: Pretty decent. Read the manga, it is just SoL with comedy which is my kind of show Gate S2: Good but too toned down compared to the manga... Feels like a Disney adaption. Hai to Gensou to Grimgar: Heard great things about the LN. It isn't set in Virtual Reality so not really SAO 2. You should give this a try. Ajin: Read the manga... That CGI tho... So far not so good expectations.. Haruchika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru: Anime by P.A Works? I have to give it a try... Knowing the studio's routine, this anime should be a good one. P.A Works always makes one good anime and then make a shit one right after, Nagi Asu (great) -> Glasslip (shit) -> Shirobako (great) -> Charlotte (shit) -> Haruchika (great???) Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu: A reverse Saekano setting pretty much. The MC already seems like a breath of fresh air from Aki (goddamn, Aki's indecisiveness pisses me off in the LNs, I feel so bad for Utaha). Will see how this goes, so far so good. Akagami no Shirayuki-hime 2nd Season: For a shoujo, the first season was decent. We'll see how this goes Active Raid: Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai Hakkei: First episode so far so good.. I am hoping this show pulls out another Tiger&Bunny which IMO was the hidden gem of 2011 by far. Sekkou Boys: This shit seems so troll. I will watch. Expecting great comedy from this. Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut: I loved the LN artstyle of this. Haven't read the series but I'll be watching this. Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm: Don't know how good this will be but I'll be watching it. The visuals and description look good. Divine Gate: I already hear this one is pretty shit but fuck it, will watch regardless. Dimension W: Interesting premise, going to give this a try. |
| Weak season, like winter always is. Only about 2 or 3 goodies that aren't sequels so far. Haven't watched Sunday's releases yet though so will be checking those later today. Boku dake ga Inai Machi - Best thing I've seen so far this season. Also KFG doing the OP song. Fuck yea! Musaigen no Phantom World - KyoAni + Bewbs = ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Quality fanservice, without actual showing anything, of the season? Dagashi Kashi - Very fun, comedy of the season maybe? Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV) 2nd Season - Nothing amazing yet. Gate: Jieitai Kanochi 2nd - Treat kimonomimi girls with care. It was a surprising episode. Divine Gate - Eeeeddgggyyyyyy lead. So much lulz at tryharding. Prince of Stride: Alternative - Based Madhouse. 1st legit parkour anime. Shoujo-tachi - Bland. Haruchika - Not for homophobes. Luck & Logic - Generic but alright for being based on a card game. Bubuki Buranki - CGI meh. Phantasy Star Online 2 - Trash. Koukaku no Pandora - Female android lesbians. Nurse Witch Komugi-chan R - Waste of Akio's character design. |

| Average. Besides the sequels only 2 shows which I really am interested in so far, the rest is watch-able at most. Except Active Raid and PSO2, like what the fuck... Active Raid is like a bad mashup of Psycho Pass, Gatchaman Crowds and Rail Wars. |

| It looks ok so far. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi had an awesome first episode and I really enjoy Dimension W's story so far. Musaigen no Phantom World impresses me with its visuals and I like the concept of the phantoms. Hai to Gensou no Grimgar has a beautiful artsyle and I love the backgrounds. It had a slow start but I have a optimistic outlook on it. Dagashi Kashi and Nijiiro Days had really amusing episodes and I look forward to these. Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mesazu was the most average to me but I will give it a shot. Gate, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, and Durarara's continuations greatly help in my enjoyment of this season. Also on the side we have Koyomimonogatari which isn't bad. I'm still watching Heavy Object and Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans as well. |
| I rated good because it's already one of the better ones recently. Although admittedly there's only maybe a handful of good shows, most of the stuff being average but enjoyable at least (which satisfies me but by no means blow my mind). |

| I wouldn't say this a weak season as it's just starting. ERASED (Boku dake) looks set to be the most popular for good reasons, GATE looks like it might go in a darker direction this season which is something I felt was missing from the first and I felt like Dagashi Kashi feels kind of refreshing for some reason. My person favourite has been Myriad Colors Phantom World for two reasons: 1. that Kyoto Ani animation and 2. it got me to laugh at fanservice for the first time in a while. Don't know why people are condemning Phantom World after one episode just because it did the "MC accidentally sees female's panties" joke. Yeah it was still kinda lame but it's not as bad as some of the ones from the Fall season. Oh and Bubuki Buranki's CGI is actually pleasant to look at. Hopefully Ajin can do the same. Every show still has the potential to be good but if I had to write off a few I would probably say Active Raid because of pacing issues in the first episode, Grimgar because A-1 Pictures does not have a good track record with LN fantasy adaptations and maybe Divine Gate cause the MC reminds me of Anakin from Attack of the Clones; "I don't like water. It's cold, wet and depressing, and it makes my shoes soggy". This kept repeating in my head every time he was on screen. |

| Well I went into this season pretty much blind, didn't know what was decent and I'm trying to watch stuff with a open mind. Here's my thoughts on a few of the airing stuff so far (not including second season stuff and some of the shorts) Boku Dake: I honestly think this show will be AOTS, first episode gave off a pretty good feel for the show and I think it's going to be great. The story looks pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to future episodes. Dagashi Kashi: Iv heard a lot of hype for this, but I'm pretty confused what the story's remotely about. With the genre tags bring shounen/comedy I have no idea what to aspect. (Not a huge fan of maid outfits also, Hotaru looks better in casual clothes) Phantom World: I looked a bit into this one because I'm a fan of KyoAni. The story is pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to where it goes. Characters are average so far, I like Reina however. The fan service is the only real complaint, I was probably paying more attention to the boob physics then anything else. Grimgar: I liked that art, and the story seems a bit more interesting then your average "stuck in a game" or "teleported to a differnt world". I'm kinda interested, but not sure I'm a huge fan of the MC. But it's looking fairing interesting. Prince of Stride: not much to say about this, it's alright I guess. Basically a over-glorified relay race with parkour/free running. Only watching because Madhouse HaruChika: This is the only anime this season I was disappointed in. I was kinda hoping for another Hyouka but with a more active mc and myster aspect. But instead we got a love triangle with a teacher and some bellow average art. The eyes also bother me quite a lot. Koukaku no Pandora: Picked this up on a whim (expecting it to be bad), but I was pleasantly suprised with the first episode. It gives off a Railgun feel (index) but with some fan service (not much so far). If it developes a decent story it might be the hidden gem of Winter 2016 (but I think I'm expecting a bit too much). I don't think it's for everyone and from what iv seen the source material is average but maybe they can pull some magic |

| I think overall this season is looking to be better than last year's winter. There are a couple of promising series, but then and again its too early to judge. And by extension the ones that are not as promising might become better. So its too early to tell. That aside, I am impressed by the art and animations this season. |

| Only follow Boku Dake for now, the first episode was really impressive (and dat akfg song), and Dagashi kashi for SoL comedy (plus fanservice perhaps). But probably give a shot for ajin too cause it looks interesting, i dont mind with cgi. |

| Better than last season so far. I have 3 sequels and 5 continuing from previous season, so already 8 shows. Add in 3 legitimately good premieres in Erased, Rakugo and Dimension W which I know I will definitely stick around to the end. Plus another 4 which are promising Stride, Dagashi, Grimgar and Phantom World. Still got Ajin to look forward too, early reactions seem good to movie version. |
| Not as good as last season, WAY BETTER than previous winter. While unlike fall, this has no "aoty material" shows, it has a lot more simply decent shows(ex: Dimension W, Girls Beyond Wasteland, Boku dake, etc). And lot more average shows(Bubuki Buranki, Grimgar, Schwarzesmarken if its only 12 episodes) and mediocre shows(Musaigen no Chuuni Boobs I am looking at you). Certainly enjoyable season but so far nothing that out of the ordinary. Still better than previous Winter. Its too early to judge by how much better. |

| So far, very good. I'm watching most and have to say that none have bored me. The most interesting ones for me so far would be Rakugo, Grimgar, ERASED and Dagashi Kashi. And I'm glad I'm getting my yearly fix of Monogatari (Koyomimonogatari). Can't wait to finally watch Kizu |
