yes its definitely better than Fairy Tail imo, its standard battle shonen but the execution is very good, the sakuga fights are a mix of 3D and 2D animation though

It is a bit better by virtue of focusing in the main antagonist and giving the story a full closure.

Hello,

The art is definitely not the problem, the animation is. It's genuinely bad, it looks like it was fanmade to be honest, they changed studio due to low budget and that end up being a realy bad call. That being said i would not recommend at all since animation has quite a role in your typical fighting action shounen anime.

For what I've heard from The Seven Deadly Sins is because it legit sucks (compared to the standard of S1 that is, I doubt it's up my alley either way). Kinda like how OPM S2 has bad fame compared to the first, but worse.

Chihayafuru was mostly due to a dude making a thread saying "bruh this anime has 30 1/10s, clearly upset vinland saga fans that don't want their anime second in the top rated airing list", and perhaps to create a reaction they created 200 accounts in the span of 2 days. Since more people started complaining (even non-chihaya fans) I guess the guy just kept going for the meme until he got bored. Fake news that the mangaka liked a Hong Kong tweet and that because of that chinese fans wanted to downvote it were also spread. Just a disappointing mess altogether.

It's just as good if not better.

They made over 1500 fake accounts to downvote it, taking advantage of the fact the admins don't manually delete them any more since 2-3 months ago (and the imbeciles even announced it). It was 8.60 before they started downvoting it and now it would probably be around 8.80. As of why they don't fix it, they supposedly have "too much work" and are working in an automatic way the system can deal with that (not counting troll rates) instead of actually erasing the accounts. MAL ratings used to be only worth a vague reference and always to be taken with a grain of salt, but now even more so.

Sure. Not very eventful but great to look at and funny at times.

Also dope OP has to be acknowledged.

You should try Mob Psycho 100 this season. It was made by your favorite author.

Hey yo,
I was casually scrolling around Mal and i happened to have seen GTO on your favourites. Any specifics thoughts about the anime, is it good? Animation, character development, plot wise?
I recently saw a show ( Gokusen) whose premisse is quite similar to GTO, even though the show wasn't a groundbreaking concept at all, it managed to entertain up to a certain extent;therefore, i thought it would be a smooth idea to give GTO a try.

Yeah, I'd say in about a 75%. They do introduce characters that appear again, but not the case for most (probably S1 is the one I liked the less because of this). Also the longest arcs only take 3 eps.

It's potable, yet it would be something i wouldn't rewatch =P
Unowen Feb 19, 2017 3:22 AM
It is fully directed by Dezaki (who joined RoV team after 18 eps and the original director's death), and I downloaded a blurray rip for all the episodes, so ye; it might give me such an impression. But considering RoV is pretty much setting the highest standards for the 70s I'd say it is around there.

But considering the story is some sort of proto-One Piece it might appeal you.

Happy new year!

Out of sheer curiosity on how you might dislike the most expensive Japanese movie ever made, animated or otherwise. Same!
