| And THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is why Monogatari is GOAT. What other anime today can philosophically ponder the concept of morality and justice with witty dialogue and triply visuals that at first seem like they have nothing to do with the subject but really have everything to do with it? None, that's what. In a sea of subpar action-fantasy harem light novel adaptations, Monogatari stands alone. You can keep your pantsu shots and boob grabs. I won't judge. However, I will judge if you dismiss Monogatari. Already looking like AOTS for me. TL;DR I praise the shit out of MG |

| So... Cruncyroll and MAL's episode list aren't in accordance with each other. There should be thirteen episodes listed, not twelve like on MAL, since this first episode is officially actually the first two episodes. Anyway, awesome start to the series. I have very high hopes for this season, and Ougi seems like she'll be a good villain. |

| Ougi is an absolutely terrifying human be- supernatural force of nature, but my god is she fascinating to watch. All her inhuman movements, mocking phrases and false intimacy are so great. It's nice to see Araragi completely out of his element sometimes. This is going to be a great season. Anyways, trying to figure out the chronological order, this particular set piece had to take place before Nadeko Medusa and Shinobu Timel, since Araragi was already acquainted with Ougi back then, right? |

I see only super shitty CG, nothing else. It looks awfully bad (backgrounds and objects especially) , I don't know why Shaft is doing something like that with animation, pervious series looked MUCH (much is not enough) better than this. In this case I really don't care about it because I'm reading text all the time, but please don't say that it looks great because art and animation are very disappointing and this is shame for the Shaft. The only good thing about visuals is how Hanekawa looks <3 Of course art and animation is not the only thing, story is great as always (or even better than Hana and Tsuki) but you know... This is anime, not a book, visual aspect is important too. |

| Was actually surprised by this. Started playing the episode and saw the run-time, and assumed it would be like Hana and Tsuki where they just put all of the episodes into a single release. Then I come on here and see that it's actually got 12 episodes, which is refreshing after the relatively short cours prior. With that 48min runtime though; did they release episodes 1-2 simulaeneously? Thought I saw it say "Ougi Formula Part I" and then "part II" halfway through. And if that's the case, do they plan on releasing every episode as a pair or was this just for the premiere? |
