Setting and genre don't really matter (although preferably not Sci-fi/Mecha), and I specifically looking for stuff with the MAIN main character being female, not anything from the perspective of a guy alongside a female. | you should try samurai girls for sure if u want female lead anime In Kemono no Sou-ja Erin, , a young girl wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a veterinarian to sacred mystical beasts. When it is learned she has an unusual power, she becomes the object of a political conflict. My third suggestion would be the excellent Seirei no Moribito. The protagonist is a 30-year-old female bodyguard who is tasked with protecting a young prince from assassination. (Try it and u wiil lovin it) i also suggest witch craft works as the main lead is female which super strong and do all the tough work Ga-Rei Zero - set in modern world but main heroines use swords and magical beasts to fight. Yomi is one of my all time fave characters. 1st episode might be a bit deceiving. THIS ARE ALL I RECOMMEND AS I LOVE MALE LEAD EVEN THOUGH I LOVE THEM TOO |

| Most romance are from female's perspective. I think chyhayafuru (josei) chrono crusade (shonen) and ikoku no meiro Croisee (seinen) are from female point of you. |
