| hmm...gotta say Eve no Jikan, I just luv that one. Bakemonogatari was a really good one even tho it turned out to be really different that I had thought it would be. Higashi no Eden. I really liked that one too. Can't wait for the movies. Aoi Bungaku.."Run Melos" arc was awesome just like the first arc "No Longer Human". and I luved the other arcs too.^^ Summer Wars was a good movie. FMA Brotherhood..Lovin that one. Never was a big fan of the first FMA anime series but this one is great.^^ and almost forgot Darker Than Black - Ryuusei no Gemini ...I wonder if I forgot anythin else.. Well can't wait for next year and new anime series..there's a lot of series I want to see ^^ |

| 2009 was kind of a "meh" year for me in terms of the anime I watched, but the ones that really stood out for me were Axis Powers Hetalia, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, and a little independent anime called Fumiko's Confession. You know something is being said about the Japanese anime industry when one of your favorite anime of the year is a two-minute amateur short posted on YouTube. |

| I gotta say that Needless was one of the top new animes I've watched this year. It's combination of Action and Ecchi was perfect. What's best is they barely intermingled them. When there was action, then they were serious, when there was ecchi, they were serious, XD. Bakemonogatari was also a good one, but I didn't want to say what EVERYONE was saying. Same goes for Clannad After Story. Besides, from what I've read on this forum is that most of you guys have these HUGE expectations of anime and can't simply enjoy something that's funny or lacking in one area. Stuff like "Oh no! 11eyes has an imcomplete story! Fuck it, 4." or "K-ON has moe, so I'll hate it only if other people say they hate it first." |

There's much more good anime released this year, but this is what I can remember of the top of my head. |
