Lol I liked the ending to panty and stocking. And you're right, it's one of those where they don't really mesh together each episode. OT: I dislike it when any anime ends before a manga is completed (unless they add another season). |

| The 2nd season of Mahoromatic had a particularly bad ending. It seriously made little sense. (I won't talk about it though to avoid spoilers) +1 to Gangsta and Gakkougurashi I'm kind of salty at LN cliffhanger endings in general. Considering these shows will likely never get sequels it feels like a dick move by the studios who do them. (See: Rokka no Yuusha, No Game No Life, Overlord) To be fair though, these don't really ruin the shows per say, but they still kind of bother me. They feel like ads tacked on for no reason, but hey, if the anime's purpose is to get people to buy the original novels, I guess these type of endings succeed in that regard. |

| BTOOOM! literally ends in the middle. It's the definition of 'inconclusive'. It's not like AOT or Deadman Wonderland or Freezing, which don't finish the whole story but at least provide an end to an arc. BTOOOM! just suddenly stops. And it stops just when it hints that it may have more substance than "Check out! boobs and rape and isn't life awful?!". |

| Berserk . The worst thing is , that story and the characters were so good up until that point , which pissed off you even more. I'm not talking about how story turned out , but what an abrupt finish last episode had at such intense moment. Thankfully, we still have a great manga to read though. Tokyo ghoul was a bad adaptation plus bad ending. Akira's ending was just ,, Wtf has happened ? Can someone explain it ? '' . Basically any anime that have ,, cliffhanger '' at the end or ,, read the manga '' also count. |
