| Honestly, the opening is pretty good. It fits how the manga usually does his pictures and so on, as seen in the spoiler below. (Don't worry, it's not a spoiler, this was shown at the start of the first chapter) Anyway, in terms of comparison, for than the few dark patches here and there for a few scenes, there was only like 3 censors so i'm pretty content. Everything in the first manga chapter was included with a bit extra of a fight scene, guessing because they needed more content. I stopped reading the manga around probably 15 chapters after this when I heard about an anime release and honestly i'm pumped. Probably going to follow the main plot and hope they don't pull a tokyo ghoul and skip a lot of stuff later on. |

It's mostly setup, so I can't get too excited, but Alex functions as a nice method of pathos to what's going on so far. Not too big on the main guys so far though. I haven't read the manga, but I hope there's more to them than being badass. |

I cannot rate this a 5, It's needs to go higher, this was really spot on for the manga which I FUCKING LOVE, OMG Hearing Nic talk, FINALLY THIS IS JUST A AWESOME DAY..I ran home to watch this just now, OMG THE MUSIC WAS FUCKING SPOT ON AND BLOOD, YES LOTS OF AWESOME BLOOD...Funi better keep it that way, either way I'm buying the shit out of anything gangsta. I'm really glad this was a good start, I just read all 6 volumes and fell in love and was worried they would screw up the anime. So far I was wrong and I fucking love it. Really looking forward to see Alex and the Gang grow as Characters. The only thing I wish to see I thought that was funny in the manga |

| I just Watched the first episode of Gangsta and kicks Fking Ass.....It has been awhile since i have seen a good gang and mafia related show and this totally fits the criteria...and yes it has certain black lagoon vibes but that is only because of the same theme's....Also Nicholas has already become one of my fav main's grin emoticon if uhave not watched it go do so now......also the opening rocks |
| Pretty good start. Nicholas is a badass, best character by far and i doubt that this will change (sign language). Love the OP and ED (has a really nice impact when Nicholas uses the sign language there) |

| That was good. Definitely gonna watch it from here on. Great OP. The fight scenes ain't that bloody and gross. The way I like it. Man, that uhmm.. whor-man was pretty hot. Darn. So she's a prostitute? They gave her a descent job. Nice! I'm glad they took her in, but I hope I see no more naughty stuffs with her or any other guys. I can't take that. |

| That was one neat & tidy episode. Nothing special, but really well done. As for the OP song, I like the beginning part, but the rest is not that good. | I Like the setting and atmosphere of this story.. Opening song is something awesome and perfect for this show. Couldn't say the same about ED but this one is nice too :) OST fits perfect. |

| The art and animation wasn't all that great during the action scenes but I enjoyed them regardless....For the most part the rest of the episode had great animation etc They essentially adapted the first chapter and did it quite well like everyone else said and damn, they actually kept the sex scene =o I wonder how much things they will show in episode 2 Overall it was a great first episode and the OST and VA managed to capture the charming aspects of the world and the characters as well.....The setting was also great too, lots of decent introductions and build up as well The OP and ED were both pretty amazing and imo they fit this series really really well (Especially the ED) Kinda reminds me of Black Lagoon or Baccano in a sense.....I bet this series will have a great dub too |

| I really like the OP! Well done again STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION. This is the 3rd song I listened from the artist. I like the ED as well. First impression: 9/10. Hope it maintains or gets better. |
| This was episode was simply amazing! Very entertaining and definitely what I was expecting from a series with the title 'Gangsta'. Nicolas being a hearing-impaired guy is really interesting however he's such a badass; so damn cool! Worick's personality and relationship with Nicolas is pretty great too. Seeing Alex breaking free from being Barry's 'sex slave' and poured out all her anger by shooting his dead body really shows how much suffering she went through. I'm really glad she's part of the Handymen crew now. So glad that there's no censorship, the action was on point and the OST was very fitting. I'm in love with the OP song and visuals, it's just so damn addictive and awesome! The ED is pretty nice too. Really looking forward to more of Gangsta! 5/5 |

| seriously I didn't realise nic's deaf. I thought he just didn't want to pick up the phone. Initially didn't really interest me, thought a bit slow. But nice bgm. that car kicking was awesome. |
| Quite intriguing, definitely a keeper for this. I like Worick, he's fun and badass. So Nicholas is another Shizuo or what ? That guy seems to be abnormally strong lol But i hope the other gang leaders are not as pathetic as Barry. |

| Read bits of the manga but damn, this being animated is awesome~ Love the OP and ED song, and the ost as well, all are pretty amazing. The visuals are also great, as expected from Manglobe, and all dem Samurai Champloo vibes. Easily can be AOTS, great start! |
