| I want to live more on some days than others, and I've had months of sadness as well as months of ecstasy, so it depends when exactly I go back to... Probably the same for most people. But let's assume I go back to some point where I was happy, and I say I'm going to kill myself. I would be hesitant, because I wouldn't want to die if I thought that my future self was just temporarily deluded, or some future enemy of mine pretending to be my future self... but if I were convinced they were me as well as of sound mind, I would trust them far more than some stranger sent back in time to kill me. Telling my past self that my death at that precise moment would cause great change in the world... would convince me to make the sacrifice. |

| Well, you're talking about the current version me, so that's a bit interesting. Hmmm... if it was the younger me talking to the going-to-be-killer me, then I'd assume we'd have a talk with each other before any deaths came. My younger self would probably ask what the hell happened, then ask for whatever I could possibly to avoid it. I might even ask for more secrets of the future just to place me on top of the world. Perhaps some lottery numbers or anything else. My younger self would fight it, but in a more logical manner than an outright brawl. |

| Probably not, but I'm in better shape than I was 5-10 years ago so that's not really a problem. I don't see why I would go back in time to kill myself though, effectively I would die too and if that happened I wouldn't have lived long enough to go back and kill myself, and if past me killed present me, then I would know better than to travel back in time to kill myself. You will end up with a paradox either way. |
