And i dont think that means Levi's death either, that would make this manga too simple :D but actually i have a question, if anyone here can answer to me: Is this a mistranslation or who is saying that line on this page:  i hope someone can reply. It almost looks as if Erwin is saying that he delivered the finishing blow and they made it look as if historia did it or something.. but that can't be it, right? It was still historia who killed it, right? |

She herself states "I never thought id be the one to finish him" or something like that. There are also several panels in the previous chapter showing her chopping the nape that went flying. They arent pretteding she definetly stroke tha finishing blow |

| Quite sad chapter, now we know what Kenny's dream was. In the end he saved Levi from certain death (although he tried to kill Levi on the shooting chapters), and he was just searching an answer for his questions. At least he died with some dignity and even he had a bit of humanity after all. The only thing that was maybe a bit hazard was the fact that Kenny revealed his intentions to his new subordinates so easily... Final part with Historia was hilarious, really doing what Reeves chief said and Mikasa smiling... Nonetheless Levi looked different from usual, influenced by Kenny for sure, his worst enemy until a few chapters ago, talk about twist of fate... Not bad development for Levi, also after seeing what happened in the flashback (after all something like this could have been predictable...) Uri wanted to create a "heaven"... price doesn't matter. As usual it's to be understood what it really means and why people that look compassionate or not evil, are then ready with drastic plans towards humanity... |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |
| Welp, there goes Kenny. Awesome chapter! We got some Kenny and Levi backstory (finally!). Levi seemed pretty upset while Kenny was dying. And it was actually quite sad when he asked "why did you leave me?" :( So Historia has finally become queen and the people accept her! I loved that she followed through with punching Levi. And that he smiled when she did. All these good things happening at once tell me that there's gonna be tragedy again real soon. That's just the way this series works. |

As for what illness killed Kucha Kuchi Kuchel or w/e the fuck her name was, well you basically answered your own question. She was living in a slum and worked as a prostitute, to top it off: it's not that hard to believe she could have caught any type of nasty STD, nor that in the story those illnesses aren't well known or documented (this is not the 21st century, after all). OT: like some others said, it's very satisfying to see how far Isayama has gone as an author. The mystery's always been the most central and definitely the best part of its story, and it's clear now that even from the very beginning he had pretty much everything carefully planned. But I never would've thought he'd be able to do such a fine ass job with its characters. |
