| Kinda disappointed with Megumi's seiyuu tbh. I dunno, I pictured a cuter voice for Megumi? But she's doin' alright. Also, really? With the comments that the foodgasm this episode was too sexualized? I'm sorry, but come on. The previous episodes were way "worse"... I braced myself for this ep and it wasn't even much. And it was really short. Don't understand why people are so upset about it?? Like... what. Also, I don't really see how Souma is acting arrogant, cos he's not. He's just really carefree, really. And I can guarantee Erina and Megumi get better~ Their development is shown throughout the show and we learn more about Erina and she really isn't as bad as everyone thinks she is. I also read complaints that Souma's seiyuu's speech is too casual? And he's being blamed for it? You've got to be kidding me. He's reading off the script. That he didn't write. Because he's the voice actor. If anything, you should blame the writer. AKA the mangaka. (Lol.) Cos the script is taken from the manga. His seiyuu is doing a perfectly fine job. SO many people are being so nitpicky about pointless things.... Anyways, there are times where I'm not too big of a fan with the art and how they do the facial expressions. There are some scenes too, where I think Souma looked cooler in the manga than the anime. but it's still a pretty solid adaption! Looking forward to next week's episode, as per usual. |

It is going to hurt the anime later on when we get to the parts of the manga where the foodgasm are not sexual at all. |

| Just watch this episode twice now and JC is doing an amazing job so far and it's a perfect adaptation so far.... Love how they show the shadow of Souma rivals and friends to be.Also i'm glad it is slow pace and hoping it will be 1 or 2 chapters per episode. |

And then all of a sudden, BAM, they are already in class. Wth?? Are they not going to explain how the rest of the school works? Are the students staying inside the campus or they go back home? What class each student take? And their first class is already "here, take a super crazy recipe a make your way to cook it", shouldn't it be more like an introdutory class or something? And why Megumi is still in the school wheh that paper said she would be expelled? And I really like Yukihira less now. Way too arrogant for my taste. Other than that, nice episode. Megumi is cute, and foodgasm was way less sexualized, nice. |

Souma is the only transfer student, the other ones were probably informed earlier already and had spent their time there for some years already anyway, while Souma does not get special treatment - he has to deal with the sudden challenges, after all it's what people have signed up for in this elite school. | Lovely episode! I LOVE Megumi's voice so much. Her cute dialect and voice just mesh so well together. <3 I also loved how they showed us a glimpse of most of the main characters in this episode, great stuff. Next week we finally get to the Dorm. Can't wait. |
