Black Lagoon and Higurashi. I like Lagoon more than Higurashi, must be because of pirates... School Days is also good.

wow, all of these are rated SEVENTEEN+ in the states? not that I'm all that surprised.
I guess by those standards I'd have to go with monster, I love that show : ).

Thanks De-Jay for my claim picture : ).

Can you really call Lucky Star, Claymore, Death Note, and Samurai Champloo 17+? They are all shounen as far as I can recall, and definitely dont have unnecessary elements for the younger audiences.

My favorites are probably Monster, Kaiji (I would say so), Berserk, and thats probably about it. I would say that the rest are appropriate for teens.

I don't even notice ratings most of the time. *checks.

Eh. If I had to pick 3, I guess I'd go with Cowboy Bebop, Eva, and School Days. Elfen Lied being an honorable mention.

Also known as Monster in a box, but I hate that handle...and it doesn't fit here.

Well, Baccano should be pretty obvious,

But yeah, Kenshin and Ergo Proxy are pretty PG-13.

For my favorites, I'll go with Eva, Baccano!, School Days, Berserk, Monster, and Higurashi.
