And so it goes.

I think the sum is greater than the parts. Anyway, now I need to find something light and fluffy to watch before I get really upset.

I wanted one thing from this show. I just wanted Hikaru and Tsubasa to be together forever.

And this is what I get.

This is what I get. I watched thirteen episodes solely to see Hikaru and Tsubasa together forever.

Can you hear that? The sound of my heart breaking into tiny, little, fragile pieces? When I woke up this morning I expected a heartwarming end to smile about before I went to work. Instead I got hit by the feels train. They killed off a ten year old. This was supposed to be a happy ending!

Bitter sweet ending I must say! Really liked the overall series, it had quite an interesting atmosphere and character development and with a pretty solid ending it sure was a great watch!

A solid ending to a good show. Didn't really care for the battle parts or I would have rated it higher.

The ending is what I expected, and I think given what we've seen of Tsubasa, this was probably for the best. If we think of Hikaru as one possibility of Tsubasa's personality, that she would be the only one to remember her (and understand how much she caused her to change) the idea is quite beautiful. This last episode focused too much on the action, and all those characters we've grown close to kind of just faded out. I could probably watch 50 more hours of slice of life aspects, but the blend of scifi made sense for the overall story.

No matter how dead you are inside this show will make you feel!

Too bad its so obscure but then most modern anime watchers aren't looking for something like this. No no I was not crying.

I'm so upset, all I wanted was for them to live happily together. thats all I wanted
Now I 'm going to have to go watch something happy so I don't break down into a sobbing pile of pure sadness

So Tsubasa is all alone again huh.. Well i was hoping that somehow, DD would leave hikaru on earth just for the sake of tsubasa, but anyway it was a good ending. The plot of this anime was leaps and bounds better than i expected, i had depth and was quite interesting.

Why was the reporter even in this series? He doesn't do anything of consequence but kick up the nest in this episode, leading the heroes to it, which could have just happened on its own as a prelude to the spaceship thing launching itself. He's just a big waste of time.

I agree he didn't really impact the plot but it's still good they showed that someone noticed something is happening. Helps suspend your disbelief.

I don't know if I watched a blu ray release or what but I was impressed with the visual quality of this one, being from 2001. Also, initially I was like how could Fumiko Orikasa sound this cute three years before voicing Rukia, then I remembered that she also voiced Shirley. Although not everything about it was good, as a whole it's a well made mix of slice of life and action. Also, ballsy and understandable lack of plot armor is always welcomed by me.
