| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Basically an episode to promote the movie coming out this Saturday. While it was very nice to see the old girls back in action, seeing them just makes me miss them more lol. Seeing them so mature in the senpai role really makes it feel like we are in a new era. I didn't care for the singer that did Ichigo's performance. Really? Next episode is about a premium dress again...(though there may be a new Xmas insert song). No Juri again D: |
| 1. Akari, hina & sumire are so lucky that they get to work w/ ppl they look up to 2. Akari holding ticket info sign upside down on live tv… that's just like her 3. The movie comes out in 2 days from now (12.13.2014). Japanese anime movies tend to come out 6 months after the release date… this gonna be some long wait :( 7/10 |
| Great episode, though I'm upset it reminded me of how long we're gonna have to wait for English subs of the movie The performance was nice. They really stepped up their game with the School Coords this season. Last season they were so bland and there were only around three different tops and shoes in different colours mix and matched while they DreAca coords seemed more unique. This season's coords even beat the first season imo, Ichigo's, Juri's and Sumire's look the best imo The performance kinda reminded me that I don't like Waka's voice that much. I only really like her in certain songs like Original Star, Friend, Sweet Sp!cy but I didn't like her in Aurora Princess. Let's Aikatsu just isn't doing it for her :/ Did anyone notice her giant aura? It was as big as the 2wingS aura! |

| for most of the time it was fine episode - did good job as introduction to what might happen in the movie (unfortunately trailer show Mizuki will be in it. so don't think I'll like it). Akari was ok, as excited as she should be, weird too (I assume fruit hats were her idea). Hinaki once more got chance to show that she does know how industry works - good use of it plus she also had few adorable scenes. as for Sumire... yes, she was there. even said something. that seems to be all - in the future I do hope she'll get one or more episode with Yurika-sama, somehow they fit together well (plus it would mean more of Yurika-sama too). |
| Soleil returns and impress like always. Akari stepped up and shined as well. The media surprised Soleil by asking Akari/Hinaki/Sumire questions about the concert and Akari didn't let that bring her down. I thought it was a very good answer, she didn't go into specifics but she did give a proper answer. Omg those Strawberry hats lol. I was hoping Ichigo would wear one, I mean Bepp calls her Strawberry Ichigo sometimes. I do wonder what will the three new girls call themselves if they do become a unit. |

| While Akari did end up giving a good answer on stage, I still don't think it was smart of her to say "uh...we don't know what's gonna happen." They should have just avoided the question, lol. It seems that Hinaki has solidified her catch phrases by now (that's hot / listing things). Hopefully Sumire gets more interesting things to say than "yeah!" at some point. | Such a great episode, our new girls learned so much about Ichigo, Ran and Aoi after seeing them put their everything to prepare for the event, this episode completely succeeded in getting me hyped for the movie! |

| Ichigo really is the best. Her performances are always so uplifting & upbeat. It's nice to see the original girls continue to grow on their journey as top idols even while the emphasis is on the new generation of Aikatsu. |

| The stark contrast between Soleil and the new group is just so big. Soleil dynamic as a group or individually is very charming and fun to watch especially their banter. Akari and co really need to step up the game. That was one of the best performance Ichigo had pulled so far. Movie next! |
