Guess that's nice we get to see as Ginko does, otherwise I'd be wondering about all the rust they kept talking about.

Well cool episode and while the show's winding down, I do enjoy it.

Good episode.
One thing I didn't understand: did the girl lose her voice at end, or she kept it?

She still got her voice. But her mission to echo her voice to the mountains is not finished. She must keep doing it for all the rust to be kept away. And that will be the cause of losing her voice. Imagine you have a duty to scream out loud in the mountains. It will hurt your vocal chords until no voice will be produced. LOL!

Calming...good point!
It's nice to have sometimes an Anime which is so becalming =) (i'm thinking of rewatching some episodes, if i feel kinda stressed...watching this anime is like having a cuddly blanket lol)

To this episode...another happy ending (even if almost every happy ending is not a full HAPPY ending ^^" but better then the alternatives lol) about the matchmaking..Ginko didn't do much about that... i think tetsu has planned something like that for a while...you could see that he has a cruhs on her =) lol

uuuhh Ohhh.... Well... I gotta disagree with those who say this was a happy ending.... A happy ending for a vilage... but not for a poor girl... she pretty much give up on everything she had and was pushed to start a new life with Tetsu... not that make up a ad match, Ginko somehow has the eye to set up nice pairings, but there's always a cost for them.... You know that's pretty harsh... Anyway the epi was really calm... But it contiued with the trend of strange mushis towards the end of the show,,, I guess we will be pushed to read the thing XD... I wouldn't mind XD.... I still think to mysef the same thing Ginko asked himself.... How the hell did she catch that Mushi.... I guess it was bad luck.... Poor girl

Good episode. Though it has happy ending but I hope the girl wouldn't lose her voice due to ROAR!!

I got the feeling that Ginko's way to solve the Mushi problem looks like solving a detective case. Detective Ginko might seem not bad. :D

And LOL. Ginko the Matchmaker strikes again. xD

A bittersweet episode. At first I was like "Don't they notice all the rust?" then they told us only Ginko and Shige can see it XD

Lovely ending; it wasn’t fully a happy ending, but it assured that Shige had someone to rely on, even if she lost her voice at certain point.
I think, then procrastinate.
Therefore, I am.

What a strange mushi, one I'd avoid like the plague. Felt bad for the girl having to deal with that mushi for such a long time. Pretty good episode.

A number of happy endings lately. They're probably just waiting to spring an uber depressing episode at the end to make up for it.

Definitely one of my faves, too, which was unexpected.

Is it a happy ending? It's kind of subjective. It was happy in my opinion. She at least gets to live a normal life in the fishing village alongside Tetsu, and she can use her voice for as long as it will hold out. Plus she didn't use it for ten years so... hopefully that time can be added on to the life of her voice. (I know things don't work like that, but it's nice to be [overly] optimistic sometimes. :P )

This was the most confusing episode for me so far.
Did she get the mushi at her birth? What is the cave for? Why was she in a cave in the beginning?

Wouldn't necessarely agree with this being a good ending.. Her situation had improved, but still she'll lose her voice.. Good thing is that she'll have someone by her side when it happens.

Poor Shige, I cried when Ginko was talking to the villagers. When they said how will Shige apologize for all she's done, Ginko answered that she has been apologizing for the last ten years ;_; and that she has to pay for her "crimes." But it's really not her fault, at least not on purpose that her voice can attract the mushi. At least it ended well, and she can use her voice again as long as she's by the sea. I'm also glad to see her with Tetsu :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think she's going to lose her voice? I though Ginko only said that at first she'll lose her voice or something I think. But that doesn't mean it won't come back. Hopefully anyways, I would rather see this as a happy ending and not bittersweet.

another really interesting episode.
It's interesting to see a whole village affected from the Mushi.
And Ginko lowkey set up another couple, hehe...
it was really cute! And also really touching.

I say this is a happy ending. Shes happy with her man and she can talk now since shes in that town. Only thing that stood the same was she had to scream but she was doing it wrong before and now shes doing it right. So I dont see it as bitter sweet or anything bad since all that stood the same was the screaming and she can just look at that as her day job if anything :P.

Nice, happy ending. Glad they survived and she got on the right track to clearing the creepy rust mushi. Another great episode, nothing new about that with Mushi-shi though. Every episode so fa,r has been at least really good if not great.

I'd just like to say that it was great when Ginko told the guy "She's all yours" and gave him a little push! lol Ginko despite being -I'm guessing- quite young, seems to know a ot not only about mushi but about life, maybe it's because he's in touch everyday with life's origin and with so much strange phenomena he just be chilling at times

"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."

Good ending, starting over in a new village after being accused and silent for 10 years.
When they fell in the forest all I could think was: 'this is gonna be the saddest ending ever... she just fell to her death and the rust will remain forever' Happy they didn't do it xD

Hopefully they both learn how to read and write, just in case her voice does actually give out.
And maybe so Ginko can get another wedding invitation. ;D

great episode.. one thing I've found to love is the abstraction of the idea itself in this anime. It's not so much the moments (even though there are plenty of beautiful scenes), but the idea of it entirely. a girl, whose voice attracts mushi that causes her village to stain with rust, spends 10 years in silence atoning for her curse. she is visited by a mushishi, and spends the next _ years, singing, in the mountains, saving and protecting that very same village. a girl hated by her own, singing in the mountains for her village, it's kind of poetic, in a way. ;v; just really love the ideas that this series has, so unique and lovely......
