Nice. I was planning on buying the light novels as well since Yen Press licensed them.

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka has been getting a lot of roles lately, which good in my opinion since he is of my favorite VAs. He also got the lead role in the Absolute Duo anime.

J.C. Staff huh? They can make this good if they want to. Also, were they confirmed to be doing the Heavy Object anime adaptation as well?

YES, more romance. Even if it's not a romance drama, more romance is always good!

JC Staff, make sure you actually make this good unlike what you did with Little Busters.

Yoshiki Yamakawa is the director of this series...The same person who directed Little Busters.

I'll still give the series a chance as it's an LN adaptation not a VN adaptation.

There is a speculation that J.C. Staff is adapting Heavy Object but it hasn't been confirmed it.

I still hope that he makes a good adaptation since Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darou ka is one of the best light novel of 2014.

I found the manga pretty decent and amusing, despite the considerable lack of details and pacing issue that kinda prevent me from being immersed into it (though the very nature of LN adaptation is to blame). Considering how prone fantasy/harem LNs to have their male leads wield sword with various awesome attributes, it's kind of amusing that the hero of this series wields a simple dagger and just a single one at that, not a pair on each hands, without any special attributes whatsoever. The way he utilizes pure speed and techniques rather than some bombastic, flashy moves is also a plus for me.

This forum has become pretty predictable. I can almost tell immediately which direction the comments will go depending on the title announced.

QFT. sad truth, but still truth...

Excellent news! I've got the English release vol 1 pre-ordered and can't wait. Love the art and the premise sounds good to me. Just hope it doesn't disappoint, I have yet to watch a bad series based on a LN though so fingers crossed it isn't going to be the first. Even it it wasn't a LN adaptation I'd still watch it. 2015 shaping up well at this point.

Semi-ecchi doesn't hurt that much but a possible Harem is big no for me. I'd still check it out but I won't have my hopes up.

That name is kind of off, and had a different implication from the original title it makes me kind of bothered. And I'm actually kind of worried about the translation quality. I do prefer fan translations but official translations will always be secondary to me.

Nonetheless, definetily one of my favorites manga I quit reading recenlty, too lazy for the novel.
Looking forward to see Bell-kun animated. And he HAD to have this VA.

Even I think the manga is pretty meh, I have nothing to say about LN itself since never read it personally.

What am I saying, I know I still gonna watch it anyway..

I haven't watched many J.C. Staff works, but as shown by Toradora! and Golden Time, they can do some real nice ones.

Edit: BTW, is there somewhere I can read the original LN?
