Nonetheless, the character designs are pretty as much as I can say and I can already see Tigre is not too far off of getting a harem going >.> |

| ....So they really did covered half of Volume 1 and the skipped a lot of important scenes.2 of which was really needed. Though I love the OP and ED. Anyway this is a bad news if you are a LN or manga reader because this is clearly going to be a rush job. |
| Haven't read the LN's, but first episode was better than I expected, until the fan service kicked in. Hopefully this will be the only scene in the anime, or at the very least I hope the anime doesn't get overrun by it like so many do. |
| Kinda saddens me that this LN got a shitty adaptation. Not sure what the sales are but if by any way they could've waited for a better adaptation, it would've been nice. 12 episodes isn't enough to cover shit I haven't read the LN but I think I can still get some sort of enjoyment once I start reading it maybe after the anime ends. |

| Dynasty Warriors the anime Just gonna go out on a limb and say as far as Harem/battle ecchi go it was pretty decent and main leads don't seem annoying as fuck plus the MC just uses a bow lol not often you see that. nitpicky as it is but i really can't stand the bright colors on all their outfits |

| Wow. I couldn't even read all of these comments, is everyone seriously going to complain because the *FIRST* episode is *NOT* the LNs? Can't leave out the people hating because this has a little ecchi and harem-ish stuff going on, how were you not aware of this before you decided to watch it? Anywho, enough of that. I can already tell I won't be commenting much on this series because of those idiots littering the threads with crap. I did not read the LNs, I knew nothing of them before picking this series up, so if this episode is half of the first volume- well those volumes must be bloated with unnecessary situations. I thought this episode flowed well, could have been better but was good none the less. I think it was a good introduction to the characters, though could have used a little more introduction to the world itself but I assume it will come later. All in all, I'll give this episode an 8 out of 10. |

| I didn't like how I was getting *insert bad harem show name here where male protagonist is powerful/ very skilled* vibes from it. As it went on I can't help but like it. A male lead who doesn't wield a sword but instead a bow? Interesting. He doesn't seem as dumb as a rock too. And to top it off, Ellen is cute :D And the baby dragon...aaahhh <3 |

| I pretty much liked it, I love the setting and the factions introduced here. Though it felt rushed, but I'm going to see how the show goes in here. Tigrevurmud has like a unique name which is pretty difficult to say it I guess, until I say it a few times. Well it basically talks about the war zone in here and Eleonora I guess was trying to make it feel like a friendly place. As for the animation, art, music, Op and Ed were good and standard. I'll stick to this to the end. |
| To be fair, there were significantly more naked dudes than naked women in the first ep. I might be biased since I think archers are far more interesting than the usual swordsman, but they did show him to be a realistic badass. No over the top fancy swirly wind magic sword power-ups, no earth shattering destruction, no technique name shouting...he simply calmly aimed his bow, considered the factors affecting the shot, and fired. That's it. No tricks. Sure we had some internal monologue, but that was what made him seem more human, instead of superhuman with no basis for why they're skilled or powerful--unlike some other protagonists from different shows that come to mind. This is the reason he seems cooler then the war maiden. |
| I don't mind ecchi harems if that's not all there is to them. Likeable and at least somewhat interesting characters are priority and a good story in an interesting setting certainly can't hurt either. From this 1st episode, I feel that Madan no Ou to Vanadis has the potential to be all that. Also, Eleanor remind's me of Rias from DxD,which I certainly don't mind :P |

| Really like the general direction of plot and story, only problems I have with this show is that the Plot seems a little rushed (hopefully it's not this fast all the time) and the animation is kind of poor (but that's probably a budget thing). Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Well this was interesting. Violent Harem it seems. I like it. Its nice to see someone using a bow as a main character though. I havent seen that since Princess Monokoe. |

| It turned out better than I expected (I've read the original work). The rush can't be help since they have to show all war princesses in 1 cour, but at least it's not that hard to understand. Fan service are kept at a reasonable level. Eren is cute. Food animation very nice. I'll keep watching. |
| Right from the start Ellen gives off an Esdeath vibe similar to the situation between Esdeath and Tatsumi. Not bad, but it's looking to become a typical action harem LN adaptation (similar to Dragonar Academy or Blade Dance). |
