In the book he is a pathetic coward that lie and make excuses even before he die. But the real him is totally different person O.O You really can't trust books and information. |

| Man, Noland was awesome in so many ways. To think that such a strong, good-hearted, and renowned explorer was the same person that was wrongly executed and made a fool out of for generations to come is a big shame. At least the truth lies with the Shandians who benefited from his efforts. It's fascinating that the Shandians had wings way before they got launched up into the sky. I'll go ahead and say that cultural relativism is a sham for the most part. If a culture condones barbaric practices, that's a bad thing no matter how deeply ingrained it is to their traditions. Way to go, Noland! You can do it! |

I’m pretty sure it’s already been suggested that the stories about Noland were all fabricated in order to make him look bad. So it wasn’t a surprise that he turned out to be completely different, and an amazing person at that. Hopefully he can drum some sense into those damn Shandians. This back story is actually turning out to be a lot more interesting than I’d anticipated. |
