| Why didn't Jotaro's star platinum simply cut off the stand users arm where Joseph has an artificial arm? It will be painful but no loss of limb. And I thought it was established from the doll stand user episode that Polnareff couldn't attack anything with his silver chariot that he himself couldn't see. Hence why the blind slashing and stabbing. Visualisation is key which is what was used to cut down Centerfold. So why is it silver chariot is able to free travel around Joseph's body... We know Hierophant Green was used to search every inch of the large ship stand. So we know Hierophant Green can be used in this case as well. First episode, Hierophant Green was used to take control of the nurse's body... We know dan of steel has the weakest stand in the world... So why didn't Hierophant Green freely take control of Dan's body so that he couldn't hurt Joseph anymore. 1) Hierophant Green locks Dan's body in place so the blackmail and further harm of Joseph is prevented. 2) Joseph uses Hermit Purple to locate Dan's stand. 3) Dan's is knocked out using sleep medicine? 4) Hierophant Green goes into Joeseph's body to locate and kill the stand. 5) Last emergency measure, Star Platinum cuts off the hand corresponding to Joseph's left hand, Dan bleeds to death and the stand is defeated. 6) ? Profit |

Hamon rules are concrete (more logical), and I too share your frustration at the amount of convenient lapses in rules that were set-up, especially when they are so easily 'fixable'. Personally I agree with the Mangaka, the concept of stands is brilliant, the amount of creativity that was afforded really allowed the mangaka full freedom and creativity to write some very original powers. It's also nice for the reader. It's stuff like that made me appreciate HxH over Dragon Ball and Naruto (power hacks). I don't care that Dragon Ball came before HxH and HxH being influenced by this iconic series. I'd take HxH over Dragon Ball anyday. I don't really want to rank hamon and stands with one superior to the other. They're both great in my opinion. With the stands, there is more potential over hamon which the mangaka quoted loosely, but with that comes with some flaws. One positive example of stands: Hamon was so 'weak' and inflexible that often-times, ironically, it almost suspends any belief that the good guys came out alive with blood splurting everywhere. I really like how much the mangaka created suspense with the stands, making it very hard to predict how a stand's power can be creatively used to save the good guy's hides from death. |

| Kebab talk and presentation of the art of hagging was great. xD Though it was awkward to hear "yen" as if it was used as currency in Pakistan, lol. I guess it was to make it more friendly to Japanese viewers and show the price as if it could've been if that haggling scene happened in Japan. Dan of Steel is vicious and cunning. His Stand is deadly as well. Poor Enyaba. I don't feel sorry for her as a character (she wanted to kill our main characters plus her son and Hol Horse shot Avdol before), but rather it was sad to see her being loyal to DIO even if he turned back on her. |

Joseph was showing the inside of his body through the TV which Kakyoin and Polnareff were looking at to help navigate their stands through his body. Kakyoin's Hierophant Green doesn't require direct sight for him to use so it would've been fine (although Hermit Purple made it much easier to find a proper path). Polnareff, on the other hand, would need to keep looking at the screen for Silver Chariot to know where it was going. |
