I was shopping with my parents a few years back and my mom (who split up from the rest of us) ran into Don Cherry, she proceeded to find the nearest hockey stick and buy it so that he could autograph it.

So ya... I didn't actually get to see him but does being a few isles down count? >.>

I also met George Lowe the voice of space ghost on space ghost coast to coast. He signed my sock.

I also met Billy West from Ren and Stimpy.

and I met Sinbad, the comedian in a bath room in LAX once.

Benny Andersson from ABBA told my mum I was a cute baby, when I was a baby.

Otherwise; Swedish actor Rolf Lassgård

Edit: Totaly forgot about a Sci-fi convention I went to. Met the man inside CP3O and he touched my boyfriends arm. Also got an autograph from the stuntman for all the Hobbits in Lord of the Rings

I met Monica Rial, the English voice of Kamio Misuzu from Air and Kagura from Azumanga Daioh. She was really nice and autographed my waitress kitty hat from one of the episodes.

Oh, and apparently my mother went to the same high school as Ricky Martin and was even in the drama club with him. He played as her character's uncle, so that was pretty cool to hear about.

That's about it. :|

Not sure how much the word famous applies to some really but there has been...

author Joel Rosenberg (not to be confused with the author Joel C. Rosenberg)
some standard meeting of band members: They Might Be Giants, Goldfinger, Good Charlotte, and then stood around with my brother talking to members of Tally Hall for a while once.

I shook hands with Bill Murray at the 1997 NBA all star game. I was about 15-16 and all I could think is "it's Peter Venkmen!"
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'

Just this last summer I was working at a fair near where I live. I worked in food place... homemade food... I'm not gonna give any more details b/c I don't wanna bore you to death... ANYWAY. Candlebox was playing at the fair later that night, so a friend of mine, that was working there with me, and I got to serve them food && pie. A couple of the guys talked to us quite a bit and made us laugh and stuff... but most of the other guys didn't say anything... Did you know that the drummer is a vegitarian?? For real. No joke.

Well I guess Vic Mignogna. Went to a con a couple weeks ago and filmed a lot of it. My friends and I went to his signing and after being denied the "Roy Mustang is dead sexy" line, Vic decided to get close to my female friend's eat and whispers the "How about if I let you drink it from my mouth?" line and she freaked out. XD

I thought that was hilarious.

I've also met Enter Shikari, except the drummer, because he couldn't make it to the states for SXSW. Apparently the bassist had a rip in his pants right where his crotch was, and announced it to the whole venue during their set. Sh*t was class. XD

And I met Meg & Dia.

And I think that's about it, haha.

When I was in highschool we took our senior trip to DC and me and two other guys got a little turned around (lost) in the Capital Building and we ended up stoping Al Gore (he was the Junior Senator for Tenn. at the time) and asked him for directions. He was gracious enough to take time out of his day to personally show three lost young men from South Dakota to where we needed to be.

Now while I am not a great fan of his political beliefs I have always respected him for that and the fact that he was willing to admit that he smoked pot while in Vietnam as opposed to Bill Clinton who said he didn't inhale.
