Oh, well, that's a pretty cool coincidence. I posted videos and images in separate comments.

I find it intriguing that you aren't on fancyjasper's friends list, yet saw Higurashi memes I posted in a spoiler on her profile less than an hour ago. Wow, you've been on MAL for quite some time! Ah, I love Satoko. (And Shion.) Yu Yu Hakusho was one of my first anime. I like Hunter x Hunter a lot more, though. (Same creator.)

Do what I did. Just make an account and only log films you've seen from that point on. Makes things a hell of a lot easier.

Woah, you've tried camels milk! What does that taste like? :o I hope you're joking about kangaroo pie though.

Yes - I tried ice skating when I was younger. I was quite wobbly when I first tried but it's not as tricky as it looks! The ice skates themselves feel weighted-down so it helps with keeping your balance in the centre. Ice skating usually takes place during winter so most people wear puffy/padded clothing which can help if you ever take a tumble :)

Yes, that anime hit me pretty hard, it made me feel uncomfortable at times but I continued to watch it cause of the characters. I enjoy anime's that have great character development and where I actually feel for the characters. I'm a very deep person and I love being able to feel something whenever I watch anime. Social anxiety is tough trust me, I suffer with quite a bit myself. Not many people seem to understand what people have to go through and hard how it can be for a person to simply walk up to someone and start a conversation. Things go racing through my mind and I constantly worry what the person will think of me and if they'll think I'm a weird person.

Being weird is a good thing though, but lots of people define weird as a bad thing sometimes which sucks, haha! After that scene where the group wanted to attempt suicide, I stopped watching it for a few days myself. However I came around to watching it a few days after it that and felt okay. So trust me, I can understand what you mean. :)

Oh that does sounds scary :o
The winter this year averaged around -5C in my province which is chilly enough to make most wrap themselves up in multiple layers of warm clothing. 48 degrees is just deadly heat. That's just asking for sunstroke to happen. Oh that's okay :) When it's frosty aside, I rather not move from sources of heat as well.

Australians must have nerves of steel by the time they're adults! What is the Sydney funnel web? :o
Canada can be a winter wonderland during the months of November - February. With regular snowfall, the trees and the ground get covered by ice and snow. Now that it's March, it's the start of spring for us, so the snow has started to melt and it's less bone-numbingly chilly.

I enjoyed Welcome to the NHK; I loved the ending especially. It certainly made me tear up a lot too. I myself am a loner and have a hard time going out in public around people so it really spoke out to me as I was watching it. The moments that got to me though when they mentioned suicide, that especially got to me a lot. It seems like the main character was suffering from a bit of depression. Haven't seen too many anime's like it but it's indeed one of my favorites now. :)
