Do you remember (or not) the name of the characters? Why?

| Most of the time I only struggle on two different occasions 1 : I'm watching a dub. I find it much easier to remember things if I read them as opposed to hearing them. This is especially true for Japanese names since they aren't my native language. 2 : We have tons of names thrown at us every episode. World Trigger tends to do a little popup box which includes name, age, height, blood type, bla bla bla for every single character that gets a second of screentime. Ain't no way in Hell I'll remember any of those. |

| agree, I'm terrible of remembering character's name, especially those with their name longer than 6 alphabets, but it only happens when I watch continuity an anime in one or two days =D |

| About the only anime character names I remember of from anime I seen more than two or three times and even then its iffy. I seen so many anime its impossible to remember all the characters names. |

| Only for stuff I've seen a lot. I could easily name the characters from FMA/Kill la Kill but if you asked me say Sakura Trick/Angel Beats I'd struggle with most of the names. It really depends on how much I like the series tbh. |

| At first, I couldn't remember the names at all. Now, it depends on how much I'd enjoyed (or even hated, for that matter) an anime. If it left a strong enough impression on me, I'll remember most of the names. I'd watched Ane Log a few days ago, but I couldn't even name the MCs if you asked me now. On the other hand, I'd watched Bartender early last month and I still remember half the supporting cast's names. |

| I rarely remember the names, is a bit hard when the same name is in two mangas but with different surname or something like that. If i like a lot the anime, there are chance that i remember some names, if i watch it but it was just a normal anime to me it will be hard to remember. And when i must talk about an anime or manga that maybe i loved i feel weird if i don't remember the MC or other important character for the plot. Maybe with time (and some rewatch i guess) it will be more easy to remember. |

| Yes but I'm terrible with names in general, I've forgotten characters names in U.S. TV shows, video games (like minor characters) and in real life to, I only remember if I hear the name a ton, I was constantly forgetting people's names in high school, It's happening somewhat in college to. |

| Lately I have because I lose interest in the series. Like Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai, I don't even remember anyone's name aside from Mari. I'll just adress them as protagonist, orange hair, big tits and bunny girl (was her name Usagi?). |

| of course i forget names... for starters i'm not Japanese, so the names are more difficult to remember for me in general... then the fact that im always watching new anime, and the biggest thing is i have a million other things to remember that are actually important... so yeah... who wouldn't? |

| I try to remember names, but sometimes I fail. Os and As sometimes sound the same to me which makes it hard to look up characters like Madoka and Honoka. Common names like Yui are pretty easy to remember. |

| Usually hard because lots of anime require you to remember a character's first and last name, whereas almost any other medium only needs their first. But anime characters all have flamboyant and colorful hair, so I can make do with just remembering some people as "the chick with green hair." |

| I'm usually good with names but recently watching Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru I'm starting to feel like the names are trolling me. Yukinoshita Yukino - 5 syllables and repeats "Yukino" Yuigahama Yui - 5 syllables and repeats "Yui" Shiromeguri Meguri - 5 syllables and repeats "Meguri" Tsurumi Rumi - repeats "Rumi" Is there something about these names I don't understand? |
