They want to see the reaction to the second, and they may end up making a series of movies or a series if they decide to. I'm sure that if they decided to use Kickstarter for a full series, they'd make the goal in a week max. LWA 1 was funded in less than a day. |

I think most of the sequel on kickstarter was funded by foreigners? I remember reading a while ago how a LWA event in Japan was canceled due to lack up people buying event tickets or something. So unless Westerners could somehow pre-fund or be guaranteed purchasers of the anime idk if it would happen. Though there are may factors that go into making anime lol |
