| Did anyone else think of One Piece in this episode? Luffy vs Crocodile anyone? Mayamura was awesome this episode, but so was Sato for waking the dragon up. And finally that idiot Alex got it together. |

| Seeing Mayamura struggle just made his comeback even better! And I loved the classical music that played while he pitched just increased the intensity! Such a great episode! |

| It was good to know that Mayamura is also very nervous about the game. It's the finals anyway so the anxiety is expected. Hehe, I am getting excited too with the game! |

| Well shit, that probably is going to come back and bite Mayamura on the ass. What bothers me though is that even in the Major Leagues Gibson Jr. was able to successfully bat, but now here he is pretty much useless. I mean I can imagine him having a harder time but he has practically got no hits since it all started. |

| Well, we get to see an unknown side of Mayumura. It's handled pretty well though. I hope Mayumura doesn't give the lead of the match to USA in this inning because of his injury. This is getting so intense! :) |

| Wait, is the OP a red herring? I'm starting think it might not be since Gibson showed upnat the game, and the OPs have never been misleading before. In any case, Mayumura played a good game this episode. It was pretty interesting to find out what his bathroom routine is actually about. Hopefully his leg won't have any long-term problems; asking for no short-term problems is probably too much though. |

| i was actually ready for mayumura to get replace but sato did great job getting him serious again. and the pace is actually kinda pain, i feel like they want to stertch to the final episodes, i hope it won't lower down the quality more than it did, still great though, best season for me except the last 2 episodes. |
| 'Iron-faced' Mayumura showing his vulnerable humane side of being anxious and putting pressure on himself before a match makes him even more great in my opinion. I guess I was wrong last episode with Gibson now stubborn enough to come to the finals. |
