| Yeah, Gonzo totally failed at spelling "William." Seriously, does no one quality check? Good first episode. Like most others, I'm not really digging the character art. The males look fine, but the females are somewhat lacking that "female sexiness" imo. Oh well, can't get everything. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| I actually prefer this type of character design over the constant moe types that you see lately. The character design seems similar to Agito (even though the movie sucked, the animation and designs were good). I'm kinda curious what GONZO is planning to do with this show. There are a couple things that bug me (the whole william as a character thing is pretty stupid if you ask me) but it seems interesting so far. |

| I just saw this. I really liked it. I thought everything was just brilliant, the animation, the music, the atmosphere. I just love how cool Juliet is. Yay, for action. I'm glad Gonzo didn't just animate Romeo and Juliet, but decided to do something different at the same time. So we look forward to what will happen next even if we may know how the end result would be. |
| I loved the first episode. Really nice. But I could change 2 things about it (LOL): - Change the Opening song. This one is too slow. - Change that scene where Juliet wonders "What is love?" and then Romeo wonders "What is love?". -_- major eye-rolling, anyone? |

| I actually kinda like the opening song. I like the ending better though. Anyway, I just watched this one on a whim, not expecting to actually like it, but I'm looking forward to the next episode. Strange... it seems like a lot of the new shows are surprisingly good. The "what's love?" bit was definitely too cheesy though. All in all, it reminds me quite a bit of Gankutsuou - classic literature with a twist. I'm just glad it doesn't have the irritating computerized pattern effects hehe. |

| Finally got around to watching it...I'm something of a Shakespeare purist so I wasn't expecting to like this at all. :P But I do! | I swore not to start series that are ongoing because I'm impatient and want to watch everything at once, but I caught the wonderful opening ED song on Youtube. Now I'm hooked, good animation, plot I'm sure will reveal itself as the series goes on. That last scene was sooo romantic! *sigh* Young love. |

| Perhaps I'm being a bit overly critical but then again this is based on Shakespeare so they are aiming high. I dislike that the good guys and the bad guys are so clear cut in this show. One of the defining features of the conflict in Romeo and Juliet was that there was no right side. They should not have discarded that aspect of the story. That said, I like the rest of what they have done. There is only one way that I feel Gonzo could utterly ruin this show, knowing them they'll do it, and that is give it a happy ending. This had better be a tragedy. |

I was sort of surprised at the deviation from the original play, but this seems like it's more interesting than the original... (Romeo and Juliet was always my least favourite Shakespearean play. XD) So yeah. I'll keep watching this series~ |
| It's only the first episode and I already dislike it. That's because I usually don't like adaptations (I didn't like Gankutsuou either). In my opinion, they're ruining the original story, especially the Zorro Juliet. I'll most likely drop this anime, but not before I watch more episode. |

| I'm trying to remember where the OP came from. It's almost note for note for an American song,....but I can't place it. Darn it... edit: after a little bit of research, the song is an old Irish tune called "You Raise Me Up". Just the lyrics were changed. |

| I liked it well enough. The double "what is love" thing was a little corny, but it did make me chuckle some. Also, William as a character is worth some LOLs IMO hahaha |

| I could do without the flying horses. The big question for me is, where in the hell does she hide all her hair when she's Odin? Since I don't ever drop anything, I'll continue watching. It does have some good ratings, so hopefully it should be good. I hope it's not too predictable, though. |

| Thank goodness they changed her age. Juliet was 13 in Shakespeare's original. I mean, 13! I love Shakespeare, but Romeo and Juliet was always my least favorite of his popular Romances. I prefer Much Ado About Nothing. Anyway, I'm really enjoying this so far. Taking a classic and putting a twist on it. Having Shakespeare as a character is hysterical. |

| I think they did a really good job with the aesthetics for this anime. The characters look good without going over the top. I find it funny that they pretty much switched the roles of Romeo and Juliet. The only thing I don’t like is how it looks like they made Mercutio a villain and too much of a side character when he was the main catalyst in the play itself. |
| ahaha and i havve been evading this series for so long because i though it's simply RxJ just like the original.. I'm glad it's not that case, i had enough of that on highschool haha :P Now i just hope it't not gonna evolve in tragedy liek original.. and i can enjoy good fantasy romance once again :) Sent with Mal Updater |

| Meh, It began awesome, then decayed into the usual stereotypical crap (except pegasus, he was awesome). Hope I'll never see Juliette in a dress ever again, 'cause if I do, the probability of dropping this series is high. |
| I don't like it so far. I feel like they've destroyed Romeo. Romeo is supposed to be care free, hopefully he gets revived later on. We haven't seen much of Mercutio (favourite character from the play) but I hope they portray him well. Where's Rosaline? She should have been a must for this episode. Also, did anyone notice the posters said 'Otello' not 'Othello'. I really hope that one of my favourite plays doesn't get ruined from this anime. |

| Pretty nice start, i had a couple of ''lol wat ?'' moments like how the fuck does that work with her hair ? seems like her hairs are cut and shorts but she just keeps changing the lenght of her hair like whenever she wants also, that ending song wasnt really fitting lol. |

| I noticed the Otello which was weird lol. It looks beautiful and it's so meta! lol. William Shakespeare is in it lol. And voiced by Sebastian from Black Butler in dub and Ciel is Juliet <3333 So far really awesome! |
