| This let me totally confused. The most of humorous situations didn't seem too funny to me, but visually I had a pretty nice time. I like how the girls have pretty nice curvy bodies, not too much and not too little, just perfect. There are many good series this season so I may cut it in the end but also may leave it just to gaze at the girls. These proportions *.* |

| Ok I like ecchi and comedy and randomnes ect. BUT there is a precise amount of it after which it gets just "wtf srsly why ?" But still it is a "fresh idea" for girls to be guns (facepalm) and it does not seem that bad. As long as there are cute girls (eeh guns?) and kira stuff I can deal with it. |

Their body parts are actually gun parts that need to be maintained. =/ I like the fact that they have all the countries of origin per gun. They must be real guns nuts because the attention to detail is pretty good. I don't know. I'll watch some more before giving my verdict. xD |

| So Upotte gives me similar vibes to Strike Witches. Not much plot but what I did like was how detailed they went in to the guns. Impressed with the stance analysis during the shooting gallery scene. I didn't even know what a skeleton stock was until I saw this show so of course I love the little facts about the fire rate and bullet sizes. Also love the euphemisms disguised as gun terminology and the detail on the GUNS were great (so were the girls too). Now I'm wondering, where are my bolt-action sniper rifles? Next week. |

| The idea of the girls actually being guns sounds a bit weird, but once you get around to figuring out how the qualities of each gun are represented in the girls, it's actually pretty interesting. I'll be visiting this forum a lot in the future, since a lot of those references were lost on me lol. |

| I know I shouldn't be enjoying this so much, but it's just mindless fun. Girls and guns, it's very hard to go wrong with that. I know very little about guns, but the bit with 16 having to take a break every now and again was good, I remembered how much I hated M16s in video games because you couldn't go full automatic. 4/5. |

| Wow, that's the stupidest thing I've seen in ages. Dear people who are saying "I wish I knew about guns so I could work out what's going on": 1. Go and learn. There's a whole internet out there and it will be happy to tell you about guns. It might even save your life one day. 2. Even if you know nothing, it's hardly difficult to guess. Why is the main character a rifle no army uses (unless you count the AK-5, and that's a little different after all)? |

| LOL, THIS ANIME. FREAKING HILARIOUS, MAN. Although the concept of the girls being guns is utterly ridiculous, I must admit that it's been a while since I've enjoyed an anime this much. Being the firearms enthusiast that I am, I honestly couldn't turn down this series when I stumbled upon it. When L85A1 "jammed" in the first episode, the show basically won me over. For those of you aren't at all familiar with firearms, the L85A1 is a British assault rifle infamous for its tendency to jam. A jam is essentially when a rifle stops firing, either because of a mechanical problem or because a round has been improperly loaded into the chamber. This problem was fixed in the improved L85A2 variant. And the whole concept of battle rifles (FN FAL, HK G3A3, M14) being high schoolers, while assault rifles (FN FNC, M16A4, L85A1, SIG SG550) are middle schoolers is freaking ingenious. Automatic rifles are classified by the cartridge size that they fire. Assault rifles use intermediate cartridges (all of the main characters use the standard 5.56 x 45 mm NATO round), while battle rifles use full-size rifle cartridges (the 3 high schoolers all use the 7.62 x 51 mm NATO round), hence the difference. A little nitpick though. FN FAL is actually an L1A1, the British variant of the Belgian-designed battle rifle. @ YourMessageHere: Actually, that's not correct. The FN FNC is the standard issue rifle of the Belgian Army. It replaced the aging FN FAL. in the late 1980s. I have a feeling I'm going to like this anime A LOT. Kinda disappointed that my favourite assault rifle, the HK G36, isn't in the anime, though. >_> |

| I'm so glad this series got a North American localization and dub. Overall I'm impressed with Sentai Filmworks job on this one, though I hate how long it took for them to release it. I do have problems with some of the translations, but I always find that with Sentai Filmworks. They chose to keep 'sensei,' but translate 'onee-san.' While I don't want a dub to say 'onee-chan' or 'onii-chan,' I have grown tired of the repeated use of big brother and big sister. English speakers don't speak like that so they should just choose a better phrase to fit the situation. I dislike how Sentai decided to name the characters, but I've been seeing this problem in the scanlations as well. Funco is good, because I can't really think of a better way to make a word out of FNC. Sig and G3 are called by their real names so no problem there. Elle sounds close to L85 so I'm cool with that. FAL should just be called Fal, instead of Falu or whatever they called her. My biggest problem is with what they call M14 and M16. The dub calls them Ichyon and Ichiroku respectively, which is like calling them one four and one six in English. There is nothing special about how the Japanese pronounced their name so there is no reason to dub it, just call them 14 and 16 instead of a tongue-twister of a name, because foreign numbers are always difficult to pronounce. The dub isn't extraordinary, but it is not bad. They could have done better with Funko's voice, but I know I'll get used to it in a few episodes. Brittney Karbowski as M16 is amazing, but I've always loved her since she did the voice of Mikoto Misaka. The voice that stood out the most for me would have to be the Principle. I love how they actually got Jovan Jackson, and black voice actor, to do the part. The voice fits and it is something you rarely see in anime. |
