There's also Ferid from the same series....but I think...idk he is just weird. xD Might do anything. Lmao Agreed. I also feel like a lot of flamboyant villains, especially in older anime, are coded as Predatory Gays. Ferid from OnS and Hisoka from HxH gave me strong pedophilic gay man vibes, even though of course the shows never mention them actually being that. No other ones immediately come to mind but there are a LOT. There's also a few crossdressing/magical gender transformation characters that give off transgender vibes (I'm thinking of Haruhi from OHSHC, Alluka from HxH, the main character from Boku Girl) who are never explicitly stated to be trans but nevertheless stand out from other characters in the same trope. I genuinely thought the MC from Showa Genroku was going to turn out to be gay and was waiting for the reveal late into the season but it never happened. Haikyuu!! being gay though is beyond me; I personally didn't pick up on anything even a little. |

If talking about sports -beside Free and YoI- KnB and Tenipuri is gayer. At least both have canon gay characters in it. the only canon gay characters is the very first pic CrimsonMidnight said: Mibuchi Reo from Kurobas. The scene where Ferid bites down on SHOTA Mika's neck in Yuu's nightmare was....uncomfortable to say the least. xD it almost felt like rape. I used to hate the guy but once I got deeper into the manga...my only reaction to him now is laughter. He's just so goofy and random...and everyone else seems incredibly annoyed when they are forced to interact with him like "oh great...THIS asshole again..."...that makes it better. xD |

This show suffers from.. what'cha call it.. a shipping frenzy I guess? I could not discern any of the main or supporting characters being implicitly gay. I just didn't pick up on any subtext that would make that particularly clear. Oh, but there is some (questionable) trans representation in the later seasons.. (scraps, basically) That's it. That's the show. |

As much as I want to say yes to all these points, I must disagree ; w ; - I haven't found any characters that are hinted at being gay in BnHA. - Everything in Free is only bait at best. (I've only watched till S2) - As much as how gay I think the whole light and shadow thingy is, and Kise idolization of Aomine is, but nope, Kurobas also only baity at best. Except, Mibuchi Reo. - OnS is full of bait............. but I must say, Mika, Shinya and maybe Ferid is kinda gay-ish. But I still have my doubts. Shinya is the gayest, what with all his flirting with Guren in the LN... |

Disagree on Yuu. Although I’m not sure it’s really been hinted at, it also wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that his feelings for Mika are mutual. He also doesn’t seem to show much interest in female characters and there is a scene or two even in the less baity manga that imply that he enjoys Mika drinking his blood...a lot. |

Dio from Last Exile is the gayest "implicitly gay" character I've ever seen. |
Who are you and why do you show your hostility towards a complete stranger whom you've not once spoken with before. Are you seriously asking to get blocked? Well, if that's what your intent is; to tempt me into throwing hands with someone as lowly and insignificant as you, then i may grant your wish provided you articulate yourself a bit better when trying to spite a person of my wavelength. |

Some answers here are pretty puzzling. Ymir? Shinji and Kaworu? Did anyone say No.6 yet lol? Maybe they should ram each other on screen, but I'm starting to wonder even that may not be enough. Anyway, I would say Haiji and Kakeru from Running with the Wind. This is an interesting case given apparently the original draft of the story was straight up a BL with the main characters dating (https://bookmeter.com/books/561855), and the author was forced to change many things once the story got published (Including an hamfisted love quadrangle that goes nowhere with the main character "losing" and getting over it, the kind of thing that Otaku scream NTR at). The anime curiosity removes this element completely for a more romantic reading of the relationship between the two leads. The original author was pretty happy and impressed with this adaptation. |

Oh and I've gotten crap for this before but Mitsuba from Hanako-kun seems rather LGBT. From his design to his voice to his behavior. I think he's very girly and has a crush on Kou. xD Secretly taking photo of another boy? THAT IS SO GAY. lmao I also felt like Mugen from Samurai Champloo emitted some serious bi vibes but that could be just me... Also the cast of Ouran Host Club – but I think they were made official..? Then there's Fuuma and Kamuy from CLAMP's X/1999 manga. I mean some of the scenes were VERY gay but unlike Subaru I don't think they were actually confirmed. This is CLAMP we're talking about though. And Killua is gay for Gon, you can't convince me otherwise. |

And then, finally, he professes his feelings at the end of the last episode. Viewers would be wise not to watch this just for the queer romance, because crumbs is all they're going to get. |

Sorry, I should've put that in quotes.. 😓 lol it's fine. I don't any problem with it, Kaze is a fantastic anime because the cast and the characters, I don't think anyone watched it for the romance initially despite the author's self professed love for BL. The evolution of the two leads is incredible because the place they start at and the one they end up, as well them ultimately finding the meaning of running into each other, which ties to the story's main theme. The anime writers choosing to pay homage to Shion Miura's original vision and her interests was just a "bonus", though it ended up making the anime's final moments way more powerful. |

I mean honestly Rin from yuru camp might be sapphic. All the staring, blushing and spending time on her cellphone looking at pictures from when Nadeshiko camped with her are a few hints I can give. Also, the fact that she had no intention of camping with other people and started doing that with Nadeshiko is a very subtle hint that they might be more than friends in the future. At least, I hope so. But you know how anime is... |
